Interesting. I’ve found that the outward hip movement and elbow joints are a bit loose on mine. They can hold a pose, but still a bit looser than I would’ve liked.

 

The left elbow from my perspective (Cheetor’s right elbow) is looser than the other elbow for sure. He can hold a pose, but it’s weaker on one side.

 

i still think the beats mode looks a bit ugly and the lack of some sort of kibble in the back makes him look a bit...incomplete?(both his original and first transmetal form had CAT legs on the back)
do not dislike most of his look but honestly i cant stand the look of the alt mode,

 

One thing that impresses me about the alt mode is how snugly all the leg pieces snap into place. Everything fits into place somewhere, which makes the transformation satisfying.

 

How is there not a single video review of this guy when several people have him from Amazon already?

 

Legally obtained toys are of no interest for PvsP and Chefatron. lol

But I did saw a short video showing the transformation, good enough for me even though the transformation is nothing special.

Did anyone else receive one with two of the same shinguard piece?

Mine has two right shinguards...SMH.

 

I have to admit (I think I posted this, but can't recall as it's been a long week and even longer weekend) that I actually like this figure. Turned out to be better than I originally gave him credit for and he looks better in person than he does in photos. The colors, in hand, are much better than you'd think.

Surprisingly well-articulated in robot mode, beast mode isn't shabby, and the transformation is kind of involved for something this simple. (You have to get the beast mode head juuuust right before the chest and spine doors close up the compartment.)

Holds his weapons well, the paint apps are nice and crisp, and he's pretty dang big for a Voyager. Surprisingly so, kind of taller than some WFC and Legacy figures. I didn't give him enough credit before, I am now. Nice figure, worth the dough.

 

I haven’t gotten him but same here, when I first saw him I thought he was okay but didn’t see why he was a voyager (wasn’t expecting him to be big size wise) but figured he would look better in hand and he did at Hasbro’s stream and he looks way better in in hand pictures. More tempted to get him now.

 

That actually looks pretty cool.

I still say that if Hasbro takes these Studio Series beasts and repaint them into new characters in a Beast Planet capsule line, they would get me to buy these molds.
