Hello guys I need info and trivia about the BEast Wars Reborn 2-pack that came with Megatron and OPtimus Primal, with some cool remolds and the golden disc. Any release date? Main difference between these figures and the original molds? Are they the same as the USA TOysrus release? ANy special feature about the Golden Disc? I have played the Golden Disc, it's a CD-Rom, some galeries and wallpapers but there's a section where you can see a siloutte of Megs and Primal where it seems you have to put a code to access. ANy help on this part? Thanks a lot! Some pics!
I had those figures, traded for a bunch of sealed DCSH. Not bad, but I prefer Primal with the faceplate instead of the Homer Simpson's mouth. Megatron is very close to the animation model. I regretted my then decision, went ahead and ordered TM -SP DX Primal and Megs, and love them both. With these, its the 3rd time I got these molds. Oh, sorry, I forgot to answer what you wanted to know, yes, they are the same TRU molds.
as far as i know they are the same as the TRU USA versions. I have the Megatron and he is the same. I am also pretty sure the Japanese re releases single versions that were released not too long ago are the same Megs and Prime.
No, the versions that were released separated are not the same, since they used the 1996 molds as the base.

yes, they are the same as the TRU exclusive 10th anniver. 2 pack.... I have the megatron and prime on my tv and they are exactly the same as those two....
I see, however, those molds are the ones used for the Robotmasters series, hence, they are not the same either......they are smaller.
Yes, there is a lot of confusion among them, actually, so I stick to the original, even if they are aout of scale.
they arnt the same as that bbts link, you can see megatron has a different face. i bought him on ebay last year sometime. hes smirking, which i think suits the character more than they frown he has on the other figure. there are full galleries on seibertron but it took me forever to track one down. i believe they came out in 2006, but i could be mistaken.

They are from Telemocha series. After releasing Robot Masters repaints the line released the original moulds with some spiffy paint. So just for clarification for anyone who needs to know, there have been THREE recent releases of these original 1995 BW ultra molds, with some deco/sculpt changes. - Japanese BW Reborn 2-pack (pictured in the first post) - US TRU exclusive BW 10th 2-pack - Japanese Telemocha (individually packed) I'd highly recommend the most recent release, and they're in stock at BBTS currently. Actually at this link, you can see both the two deluxe Megs & Primal and two ultra Megs & Primal. Both of you are partially correct... Although the small Robotmasters molds were released in the Telemocha line, the larger molds were released near the same time as well (see aforementioned BBTS link above).
