Don't beat yourself up over it, these things happen and we are only human.

I think I would have acted exactly the same way in your position.

Not saying you were wrong, but it takes a big man to admit when he is wrong. Im giving you a pre-emptive congrats either way. Cheers!

If you realize your wrong no point in digging your heels In further
Well deadline ends tonight and got a reply from fanstoys about new shoulder parts , sent a screen grab to him and said I would pay for it and offered £15 partial refund , which would work out £130 shipped for this figure for him which I think is good regardless of having to change the shoulder joints , but being ignored

Agreed, but unfortunately a lot of people have the opposite reaction

That's pretty suggestive. If it had truly broken during transit then the buyer would accept this or at the very least respond. That (s)he does not, makes it tempting to suspect that it was indeed bought to replace broken parts for his/her own broken figure and then blame the seller for sending a broken figure.

Or maybe something else happened to the buyer and is not able or willing to respond and the possibilities are near infinite. My point being, speculation is futile, absurd, and spectacularly narrow minded considering the very limited facts.

That's definitely true. I've also been in the position that I simply could not respond due to work limiting my access to my accounts. That's of course far less the case these days (although I still don't have smart phone, but then I'm very much an exception at that).

On it's own it means nothing. Taking into account the other mentioned points...it's suggestive. But nothing more.

Could be they have already raised a case so all communication should be done on the case ? Or maybe they realised they could also get the new shoulders from FT and it's not worth worrying about any more

Offered it through the return claim and then by pm message when I was getting no reply , even said I am willing to chat on the phone , he declined the offer with no other communication, eBay have told me to either accept the return or do a full refund … I tried

In the end, you'll be able to replace the arms, when you get the guy back, it'll be a net loss of 10 bucks you pay to Fanstoys, and that sucks, but it could have been a lot worse I guess.

Screw ebay. That's why I only sell through Facebook.

Got this back today opened the figure up and no bits inside the bot so this has been a parts swap not only the shoulder parts but looks like these are used parts , can’t really tell from the picture but the edges are worn looking , what looks like a reflection along the very edge is actually lightened plastic

Hope FT comes through for you with parts for you, this is why I hate selling high price ticket items on Ebay just feels very unsecure one dodgy buyer and you've had it. You should share this buyer’s user name to make sure others avoid him (not sure if that’s aloud on here but speaking in general I guess).

Knew there’d be no broken pieces in the torso. Wounded for you mate.

Extra weird thing though is that you’ve gotten the parts on the way from FT, so quite why he couldn’t have just done the same for his bust one I don’t know.

Yeah seems abit inconsistent, but he could always arguee he didnt want to wait around for the part to come blar blar blar, which I'm sure ebay would lap up.

I know its a long shot, but now you have the goods back and with evidence of before and after, have you re-contacted ebay challenging what the buyer is stating and that they damaged it?

I know ebay will proberly spout some crap about getting crime number or something equal as daft. I really dislike scammers.
