I do it mainly for the jokes but I don't *hate* him as I thought he was fine as a homage to Cybertron in an otherwise heavy-line that did the best it could with the mold it came from. It did better than Siege Hot Shot from the same era imo.

It's just now that we're getting better updates of UT characters I'd hate to have the best UT Optimus design/toy relegated to just GUOP.

The best thing is that there is no way the new Armada Megatron will be worse than that.

 

Don't tempt fate, his antlers will be redesigned as shoulder pauldrons or something if you keep this up.

 

Still would be more accurate than G1 Megatron's cheap cosplaying as Armada Megatron.

I'm hoping to be blown away by Legacy Armada Megatron, but I haven't really liked any of these Legacy Armada updates so far so I'm not feeling super hopeful honestly.

 

i want to be hype for him and armada prime but i feel like they’re gonna add like 30 more steps to armada megatron for no reason which will budget out leader-1 so he has no accessories whatsoever, he also has frozen tread shoulders like laser prime truck fronts.

 

So, since we're apparently still comparing Siege Galaxy Prime to Combiner Wars Armada Megatron (a comparison that is still ridiculous because the former still gets the job done), I'm going to talk about another unnecessary update.

Siege Springer is a figure that definitely looks the part in all of his 3 modes, it comes with great accessories and has fantastic articulation... buuuuut it has one of the most frustrating process to get to all of those modes that reaches the point of being dangerous and easily rivals both Kingdom Rhinox and Tracks in terms of annoyance.

So, I say that Hasbro will eventually make a new Springer, a SS86 Springer to be specific. New mould? Doubtful. Retool? Possibly. This time at Leader Class to go along with all the other recent Triple Changer updates, a more accessible transformation and come with extra stuff that was seen in the movie (maybe not necessarily used by Springer himself). This all makes sense since Siege Springer's swords don't look like the one that he used in the film and, while the previous toy was fairly accurate, it still isn't as extremely accurate as the SS86 line asks for.

And you do know what's the funny thing? That, since my predictions for both Arcee and Ultra Magnus came true, I feel like there's a big possibility for this to happen (and is a much bigger possibility than another Galaxy Prime).

Siege Springer is like one of the best WFC figures, he doesn’t need an update for like a decade.

SS86 will just be the figure with no battle damage and probably no blast effect ports like Starscream.

 

Other than one aspect (those little green pieces that form the side of the chest) his transformation is fine. I’ve never got the complaints over it.

 

I expect no Leader-1 either way same for the treads moving (will be wheels at the least). But I think the budget will be used for the figure itself not the transformation since he is pretty simple. I could see him coming with the Skyboom shield or something (but probably undersized like the Star Saber was).
