Yeah I posted the video of where this came from and the mods deleted it for not being relevant to the topic of this thread :gen069:

Which reboot? The serious one or the Steven Universe looking one?

Technically I think it raises to the level of sexual assault because it went beyond verbal, she actually made physical contact with him.

    You're correct. It's sexual assault.

Again, if a man had done that to a woman, all hell would've broke loose.

At first, I was like... nah, no way did this happen. Has to be a joke. Then I looked it up and found the video where she was talking about it... yikes.

If that's the case then they really should delete half of the Flash film thread because 90% of the updates in that one are for him being a grooming, abusive, psychopath with a god complex that's trying to start his own cult. Seriously.

Yeah, if a man had pulled that shit, he'd have lost his job with zero prospects of ever working again in the industry.

Really? Ones the epic cancelled before it's time 2011 reboot, the other is that teen titans go ripoff nonsense. Fairly obvious.

I thought the 2011 reboot was pretty good, honestly. :(  It just felt way too cluttered in the second season by trying to introduce/establish so many characters and plot points before the finale.

The 2011 one didn't resonate with me. It's been a while since I've watched it but if I recall correctly I liked the new direction that they tried to take it into but I didn't much care for the art designs and I definitely hated hearing Will Friedles voice. He's a terrible voice actor in my opinion because he never does anything different with his voice. He always sounds exactly the same in every role he plays. Same for Steve Blum most of the time. The only time I ever heard Steve Blum not sound like Wolverine was in Transformers Prime when he played Starscream

They’re like the Nicholas Cage of voice actors. They’re really good at that one voice, and everyone wants to hire them to get that voice into their show (I personally like them both). You don’t hire Nic Cage to *not* be Nic Cage.

Yep! And a hundred other type-cast actors.

Another 2 solid episodes. Lots of good moments, loved the whole scene of Velma as a boy. Honestly the voice cast is on fire and continually nails it.

I mean, being a voice actor isn't about impressions and put-on voices, it's about acting. I consider Will Friedle an excellent actor regardless of whether he "does anything" to his voice, his performances are always strong to me. (hell, he was the only good thing about RID15 IMO)

I get if you prefer VA's with different put-ons but I don't think that knocks those who stick to their natural speaking voice.

Case in point: Patrick Warburton. His Kronk is entirely different from his Joe who is entirely different from his Buzz Lightyear, but they're all the same voice.
