    What does it mean when someone sends money and on both their end and mine it shows "Pending"

    They're probably checking both of your histories, and deciding whether or not to seize your funds.

    Or it could mean someone is working manually at PayPal to authorize the payment, and your transaction is in a queue.

    They'll lock your money for any reason. There are so many better alternatives than PayPal

    What's everyone use around here? Any BST thread here seems to be PayPal. What alternative do you recommend

    My wife and I use Cash App. Much better than PayPal as far as individual to individual. I still use my PayPal when shopping online from places like BBTS though. Mostly because of the one downside to Cash App. If you don't have money on your card or not enough they will block the transaction instead of just pulling the difference from your linked bank account.
