It’s a repaint vs an almost completely new mold. Plus space jet is cooler than boombox from a general sense

I know it makes some people feel old too, but we're to the point now where kids today don't even know what a boom box is <_< A lot of people in this day and age don't even own a radio or CD player beings people just use their phones or tablets to steam music now.

Speak for yourself! CD playing Boom box on my nightstand. I'd have a full stereo if I could, but space is an issue. My father still maintains a stereo with speakers a 100 CD carousel, tape deck and turntable.

    PHYSICAL MEDIA 4 LIFE!

I'll admit I did still have a bulky radio/cd player on my nightstand for years till about a year ago, I just turned 34 this last Nov. When I changed my nightstands to something a bit smaller it was too big to fit on those so now its just in my closet beings it hadn't really been used to play music for several years and was more of just a paper weight. I decided to keep it though because I do own a lot of CDs and burned a crap ton growing up that if I were to get rid of it I'd have no way to play them in the future.

Actually, I still buy CD's, and get stuff on Vinyl with the hope that I can get a proper stereo eventually. That is a lot of my collecting, hoping to eventually have the room for it. I still have to box up some BBTS orders for storage.

Vinyl is the way to go. The crispiness of the sound makes a big difference, IMO.

BUT!!!!! What about those new figures @ BBTS, huh? (trying to stir it back, LOL)

And DK-38 slips another month. Now the question is if it will come before Breakdown (or when Breakdown [and Deadend!] will finally come).

That's like buying gas in hopes to get a proper car one day. As for me, I have a boombox and about 50 CDs in my garage. Don't know why I don't get rid of them when I can just ask Alexa to play whatever I want. Probably cuz nostalgia.

The whole fiasco with what Warner/Discovery is doing makes me think, 'Holding on to physical media is not a bad idea'. We cannot rely on a company to hold on to media. They can get rid of it when they see some short-term benefit.

I’m all for digital media, so long as it’s saved to a physical drive and none of this cloud shit. When the cordyceps takes out civilization, I want my music independent of anything that relies on anyone else. Plus carrying around binders of CDs or boxes of tapes just sucked, admit it! Your 10,000 song ipod/phone is way more practical.

That said, Boombox Blaster & radio Soundwave 4 Life!!!

Youd think they would get all of wave one in before wave 2 hit. But what do I know.

At this point nothing surprises me because some people still haven’t gotten all of wave 2 from last year’s legacy line at BBTS

I find it odd that they still have a release date of April for these two even though people have gotten processing soon emails...

Granted my preorder is with Pulse, and if BBTS is getting theirs in soon it's possible Pulse will too I'm hoping.

Distribution is all fucking over the place this year again, with the big surprise being that Pulse got pretty much everything TF-related either on time or extremely early!

BBTS remains the best option for those who are patient.

Yep, I preordered Twincast because Blaster was so good. Metalhawk...well, I didn't like him in the IDW comics. But if they had put a little more effort into making hin actually look like a jet, I probably would've preordered him when photos went up. I can't find any screenshots of his jet mode from the anime but the toy definitely had something they could've worked with. As-is, he looks like Titans Return Broadside, where they slapped on some wings and just gave up.

Yeah, that Metalhawk jet mode is... odd. I'll wait to pass judgement until I get him in hand, but he is definitely looking weird from pics. Although G1 Metalhawk's jet mode is also fairly laughable so maybe it's just accurate to that original toy.
