Anyone else notice that there are no Terrorcons in the line?
Also is Skullcruncher a Predacon or Maximal?

 

I’d imagine Maximal.

 

I don't think the full line has been revealed yet, if you take a look at the listings we have toys for Scourge coming in the Weaponizers and Combiners Line. Plus there's already Nightbird which as a deluxe from this same line.

 

I like how you can just slam Primal on a table to transform him.

 

Okay, the transformation of the mask is actually pretty impressive. I no longer hate on it, it's rather charming. Guess I'm ending up with both masks, now. My kid will love them!

 

From the looks of it I’d say maximal which is a first for Skullcruncher given how he’s usually on the villain side but then again one of the most dangerous predacons shares the same name as the Autobots firetruck from g1 and that BW Skywarp isn’t the g1 Decepticon which neither got much flak over so a maximal skullcruncher isn’t the weirdest idea in that regard

 

Could those be called Battlemaskers?

 

Yeah, that's pretty neat.

These feel like a much better implementation of these ideas than back in the AoE line.

 

The beast weaponizers include a 5 inch battle changer (their version of legend/core I guess) and a 3 inch battle master. Small deluxe-tall core sized figure

 

There are Terrorcons in this line, Scourge is getting a Power Combiners figure in the second wave while Nightbird is getting a Deluxe (which we have seen).

As for Skullcruncher I think he's a Maximal, but he could be a Predacon too. We'll just see if the boxes say anything about his faction.

 

I love how much they\'re taking advantage of the beast idea and making some really fun gimmicks. My only real qualm is that those beast combiner modes have comically oversized noggins lol

 

It\'s been a VERY long time since I\'ve found myself immused and enthused about a \"kid\'s line\" from anything Transformers related. Everything revealed from the last week just look really fun.

Yes.

 

I feel like it’s just generic music they used for this. But maybe it’s from the film.

 

They remind me of Kamen Rider Gaim or whatever it was around 2016 or so with add on armor coming from transforming fruit ect

 

Bloody love it! Looks like a better auto-transformation than the Smash Changer Prime

Also a Battle Changer and Smash Changer for Scourge. Battletrap is completely absent so far, and no gimmick toys of Nightbird, that we know of yet, apart from the Flex Changer.

 

That is very obviously an Ass Blaster, duh
