No live-action characters for me, either. Tarn seems like an awesome antagonistic addition for my Autobots to have to address. (Alliteration unintended.)
While I\'m excited at Metalhawk, it seems they didn\'t get the alt mode 100% faithful to the cartoon series. More like 90-95 percent-ish? Even the G1 toy didn\'t get it right
It\'s a crime that they did core Skywarp dirty and naked without the null rays while the other two have it. Considering the release pattern between Kickback and Shrapnel, We will get Bombshell next year? this made my Legend Class Insecticons kinda useless since they\'re no longer scale beside WFC Siege/ER Megatron? Or which scaling represents the cartoons?
I don't know about the cartoon, but I prefer the older figures. Bugs should be small, and besides that, the size difference will actually make the Deluxe Insecticons look Deluxe when they're all posed together.
Yeah this is what I use too. The old Legends figures are, IMO, the perfect set with little-to-no room for improvement.
This looks really good, give it a more accurate squid head and I'd buy it. Maybe paint the sword in Vorpal Saber colors or something.
Yes he’s coming. Wave 4. Makes sense they’d do Skyquake first seeing as he’s (at least I’d imagine) the least popular of the two.
We got a toy-color repaint out of Springer, so who knows what's going to happen. From reading the comments, though, it seems like Prime Skyquake is the least-desired deco for this mold; I only see people talking about repaints.
I agree 100%; from what I've read it's not likely that many will buy him for his great personality and enduring popularity, either.
Thoughts on both Studio Series and Legacy:Evolution stuff Studio Series Core: Freezer: That is a weird name for a transformer. The robot mode looks really cool. I like how he can have multiple modes for playability with other figures. Arcee: She is really tiny. The kibble on her back looks kind weird.I don’t like her being small because she really should be around the same height as her SS BB Arcee that was released last year. I guess they’re trying to go screen scale. Deluxe: Airazor: I love how her design is very metallic and organic mix. Very realistic details look amazing. Falcon mode is amazing. Bumblebee: The sword really needs silver paint and the head too. The plastic looks to be different than the other SS bumblebee figures made in the past. Probably because this is a new mould that is made to look like Bumblebee in the Bumblebee movie era. Voyager: Cheetor: I like him a lot. The colors on him should be a little darker. Cheetah mode suffers robot hand being revealed. Battletrap: Mace weapon is really cool. I wish it had a chain connected to it just like the artwork on the box had it on there. Robot mode is fantastic. Leader: Vehicle mode seems to suffer from hollowness, which looks kind of awkward. Robot mode is really interesting. The claw arm is cool looking. The blade on the right arm is menancing. The only things I don’t like about the robot mode is the legs and the long neck. The legs should have been a little thicker. The neck should have been cut in halve to make him look like what he is like in the trailer where he first appears. I really like him and see him in the movie. Legacy:Evolution Cores: I don’t really care for these. Probably get all the dinobots and leave them in combined mode. Nemesis prime is amazing. Deluxe: Crosscut: The silver paint on him, makes him a great repaint. The red wheels are really bad and they should be black. Animated Prowl: I think he looks great. Nothing bad about him. They really focused on keeping him accurate to what he looks in the show. I still need to watch Tf:Animated. Crashbar: The new junkions are great. The way they can transform without having to break a part is fantastic. The design is nice. Shrapnel: I love the legacy instecticons. They’re doing a great job of nailing them. Can’t wait for more of them. Voyager: Twincast: Love the Blaster mold. I feel like Rewind’s plastic should be much darker blacker. Metalhawk: I am fascinated by how they were able to rework Kingdom Cyclonus and make the mold a new character. Leader: Skyquake is going to be one of my favorite Legacy:Evolution character yet. The size of him is what a leader class should be. And the way he can combine with Needlenose makes me want him more. Pipeline stuff coming in the next months) Deluxe: Beachcomber: never had beachcomber, but I have seen his POTP toy on YouTube. If they could upscale that figure and give it modern articulation. It will be perfect. Devcon: I don’t know what he could be remolded from. Probably a new mold. Voyager: Nemesis Leo Prime: An expected repaint. Dirge: Missed out on all coneheads and Thundercracker and Skywarp due to them being exclusives. I really need to build my earth mode seekers and put Siege seekers in bins. Hope they release Thundercracker and Skywarp. Leader: Armada Megatron: One of my top 5 Megatron. Loved him in the show. I wonder how the gimmicks that happened in the show will work with him being a leader class. Did they say he comes with another star saber sword? Unknown size(deluxe or voyager): Axlegrease: Interesting that this character is going to another junkion. I think he might be the lockdown car as seen in the artwork packaging for Legacy:Evolution.
Yeah I'm thinking Axlegrease is the Lockdown-looking Junkion muscle car. All that's left to speculate about is the Voyager Junkion. Some speculate that the Voyager Junkion is a Lockdown pretool but that would mean Axlegrease is not the muscle car. Another speculation I recently heard is that the Voyager Junkion is supposed to be another bike to be in-scale with SS86 Junkions but have modular feature.
