Jay from Geek Dad Life just went live from Germany reporting on Toy Fair. He’s seen pretty much everything that leaked yesterday including Point Dread.

I am undecided if the best thing from his livestream are the news about Point Dread or the comment (read by Jay with gusto): "Mmmmm...Toyguru was wrong. Go figure." XD

It sounded like he didn't see Serpent Claw MAA. Just the Palace Guard, I think. It was like he was describing one figure and they were sorting out which it was.

Did he say the armor is purple!?

That's definitely not Serpent Claw MAA.

Not sure how they're supposed to infiltrate with purple armor, unless we're following Faker logic. I bet it looks rad though!

I don't think they typically allow pictures from that event.

I don’t think he has been doing much work but, he’s been pretty quiet over the last couple of years on the org.

10 years ago I bought a set of glasses with a functional camera in them.

what i'm saying is you don't even need to try hard to get pictures inside restricted events.

Do the Mattel Creations exclusives tend to come in special packaging, or the regular cardbacks? I'll want to open my Frog Monger when I get him, but didn't know if the packaging was more "collector friendly", as I want to keep the packaging intact as much as possible.

They have brown outer boxes and the carded figures inside have resealable plastic bubbles where the card slides out.

Some have collector friendly packaging and some don’t. Sun Man, Camo Khan did and you can slide them in/out. space Sumo, Tri-Klops, Wun-Dar had regular bubbles. Grizzlor had a regular bubble packaging too, I think(I’m still waiting for mine)

Frog Monger has regular bubble packaging
