There were 6 of Recondos on the pegs at Target on university yesterday.
Mines upper right knee was completely fused from the factory all the way around.
Like the machine or solution didn't get into that peice or missed it or something. I tried wd-40, boiling and THEN I realized that it wasn't even cut.
Out comes the exacto knife and I got it to open up, THEN the wd-40 that was already there worked like a charm.
It looks fine from the front cuz I was alot more careful but I had to remove quite a bit of material on the outside and the back of the leg.
AND as an added plus, I didn't lose a finger or cut myself.  
I don't mind modifying things but damn, when the cost as much as they do, you expect to not have to do it yourself.

Damn, never seen something like that happen. They must be molding them as one piece. Good for looks, but horrible if something doesn’t get cut

 

Got an email from Pulse that Recondo is dropping this week.

Never seen a joint NOT cut. Ive had issues with Sarge and Serpentor having locked up limbs that I was able to fix with a dryer and gentle pressure but nothing like what you described. Wonder if it has something to do with the new pinless joints construction.

 

I haven't either.
Not sure if they're molded or printed in one peice. I watched a video recently that MOTU revalation figures are ALL 3d printed in one peice then the soak them to get rid of all the flash.

So I've decided to change up the layout a bit in the room.
The Joe shelf was getting crowded without making risers but having to get up on a chair while consistently adding to the ranks was becoming a pain in the ass plus they would fall and take out other things on the way down.

THEN I had a great idea about SINCE I'm done with chug for rhe most part, why not put the robots up high since I'm done adding to them and won't have to keep rearranging and put the joes where the robots were?
It's SO much easier to reach and rearrange since I plan to still expand the ranks.
Now that they're there, it looks empty.  
Looks like I need moar classified...

What a coincidence. Mine showed up today too.



Love clean robot modes with zero kibble. Also he has zero backpack. Has robot mode is so thin, look at all this empty package space.  



The only thing that bugs me (and my OCD) is that his two guns are not symmetrical.
