Hey! First time poster, but I've lurked for a while. Nice to see a bunch of fans that remember RW. I've been collecting the Sentinel releases. Got Ryo (Wildfire and Inferno), Sage, and Rowen. Cye and Kento are on pre-order, so I'll have the whole team complete by the end of the year. I've also been collecting the Lutoys Warlords. Got Anubis and Kale, have Dais pre-ordered, and eventually will cave for Sekhmet and Talpa. Got a few questions for this community of collectors: 1.) Dais is coming from AliExpress. Should I be worried about my money going into a black hole? Never ordered from them before, but $72 seemed like an amount I wouldn't cry about if the site turns out to be bogus. 2.) Are there any sources that are still selling Kale? As many have noted here, the Lutoys figures suffer from quality issues. His swords both broke, and I also lost one of the little black chest hook/claw things that make his armor look cool. (yes, I'd consider re-purchasing a figure just for the accessories) 3.) If Kale isn't for sale anymore, any recommendations on a DIY substitute? Or would any kind souls here have any extras to sell?
Welcome to the best thread on the boards I don't think LuToys across the board suffer from QC. My Cale and Anubis are tip-top. I wouldn't know they weren't Bandai. Sekmet is a two full pains, not just a pain and a half. I think it's the nature of so many things bumping into each other. I'm hoping Dais is good QC when he arrives soon. To answer your questions: 1. Aliexpress is great. I've only ever had one problem, but the seller doesn't get their money until you sign off that everything is good. I get lots of things from Aliexpress. 2/3. I don't have spare swords, but I maaaaaaaaaybe have a spare chest claw. My original shipment was missing part of his chest, and I think maybe they sent me an entire replacement chest. I'll dig in the storage room and get back with you.
I bought a Cale that sadly never shipped from a seller on AliExpress, but when I noted a problem with the order, they refunded me immediately. The main problem I have with the site is that I don't currently have a computer at home & there's a lot of functions I can't seem to do through mobile. So I can't contact the seller about the missing sheathes for the Sekmhet I bought from my phone. But really, AliExpress is like Amazon Marketplace. They just let people/companies list items for sale. So not every seller will be reliable, it's just luck of the draw.

OMG. I know I don't know you, but happy to compensate somehow if you do happen to have a spare! I searched the carpeting near where the figure fell over thoroughly, but the claw seemed to have stolen by evil gnomes.
Dais finally arrived tonight. So, one of the two figures did not include his leg armor and also came with a broken waist part. As of this post the seller hasn't responded to me, I really hope I don't have to buy a third Dais figure just for leg and waist armor pieces. On the plus side, the "good" figure has rather tight leg and feet joints, so he's standing without the aid of a support stand for now. However, the unarmored figure has probably the worst leg joints of any Warlord to date, so it's a good thing that one will never be armored. Also, while there are yellow stripes on the shoulders, there are no dark-green fist covers so I'll have to go on the hunt for a close paint color. With a bad snowstorm coming this weekend, it might be a while before that's done. Anyway, I'll try to get some pictures up in the next day or so...
Man, that makes me really nervous. Mine is in transit, but 2 of my 3 Lutoys figures arrived missing pieces. The hip sheathes from Sekmhet & the claw for the end of Anubis' chain weapon were both MIA. This stuff just feels way too pricy to have to deal with that kinda crap. Still look forward to seeing your pictures, hopefully mine will arrive soon!
I also got the new Black Blaze figure at the same time as Dais, and I can't help but feel a little disappointed. There are no instructions on how to assemble the armor, but the problem I'm having is with the ankle joints. If I'm doing this right, in order to attach the leg armor I have to remove the screw holding the paws in place, and after putting the armor on I can only reattach the paws with the white putty included since the screw hole is covered by the metal armor. Am I doing that right? Anyone else having that issue? Worse, the Bandai Inferno sheaths will not fit no matter how hard I tried, so I guess that means this figure is meant for the Sentinel Inferno?

Would you recommend Black Blaze? I noticed he was in stock & significantly cheaper than he had been previously when I ordered Dais.
They are Bandai Tamashii effects. Last I checked, they are rather hard to find for a good price these days. When I bought the lightning and tornado effects for Sage and Rowen, I discovered I had gotten Chinese knock-off parts, although I can't really tell a difference. The original Bandai versions are going for a lot on eBay, so if you don't want the KO versions, good luck. It's hard to say. I missed my chance for Black Blaze the first time around, so I have no idea if this is the same figure as the one from before although from what I remember they look the same. As a display piece, I would recommend him, but as I posted before be ready for a tough time with his feet and ankle joints. The clips to hold the sword sheaths are too small for the Bandai Fervor sheathes, and I don't have a spare set of the smaller Wildfire sheathes to use, although I suspect they will be too small for the clips to hold them anyway...
I’m always torn in black blaze. Both versions are available from China. Prob knockoffs. But at $100 a piece, I’m not getting both. the white tiger is too iconic. The black actually goes with the inferno suit
Beautiful. Can't wait for my own Warlord collection to be complete. Since I'm missing one of Kale's chest claws and the entire Lutoys Kale figure isn't for sale anymore, I ended up buying one of the cheapo vintage Kale figures from the '95 toy line off Ebay. Thankfully, the chest claws on that baby come off. It'll take some DIY magic, but I'm just going to superglue the chest claws that come with that figure onto my Lutoys Kale so that his iconic look is restored.
I'm not sure you can really call the Tigers knockoffs, since there's no official version. This is more like a third party figures that someone made from the ground up. But there's never any guarantee of quality in that end. I actually think the White Blaze is more iconic, in terms of the series, but I'm in it for the armored look, so it's gonna be Black Blaze for me.
That was an autocorrected typo. Doesn’t even make sense Because it’s the opposite of my point. My argument was that it’s “Too” iconic. Lol Have more of an attachment to the white but black goes with armor/inferno
