Mos' def normal man. Usually if I'm feeling frustrated at work I'll go out for lunch or a coffee break.

I work at an ISP support desk, and the amount of morons/old people/immigrants with NO command of English that ring and expect Computing 101 is both mind boggling and soul destroying.

In fact I feel the urge to commit heinous damage to things around me about every thirty minutes.

Yes and no. I keep Transformers at my desk to have fun with and relieve stress. And I think about the important things, like playing with my dog and cats and the sushi picnic my girlfriend and I had last night on an island in the Mississippi. :D

I've gotten angry... not sure I've gotten HULK SMASH angry.. maybe a punch in the wall once, but you quickly learn the financial ramifications of that.

I learned from these boards that people call up because their comp "isn't working" ... and it turns out they never turned it on :lol

It happened once. IE wasn't displaying the page properly (This happens every time), and none of my fixes were working. I picked up my favourite marker and threw it on the floor. It smashed open and I felt bad.

I wish the people at our ISP support desk were not half retarted nothing is ever the fault of their service its always the customers computer. I work a tech job for a local computer shop and the amount of stupid people that call/come in will boggle your mind.

Never gotten to the smash something stage. I get pissed off from time to time, but nothing really worth getting that worked up over. Life is too short.

Yes, and in return I got my picture at the security desk and was not allowed back in that customer's building.

It's been a few years. But I had a boss for a while that was dumb as a post and had an office right next to mine. On one of his particularly bad idea days a coffee cup got smashed against the brick wall between our offices.

But that's been a long time ago. I feel muuuuuuuuch better now.

I work with clients all day and there are many, MANY times in the day that I need to go for a walk around to clear my head.

Coming here (to TFW) helps to.

I dont, it gives absolutely nothing by doing this to the inmates as I found it easier to deal with them to calm them down first and talk with a calm voice. but hey that does not always work but most part it does.
