You and me both, buddy! A toon accurate Metalhawk finally!

 

When I first saw the pictures of Metalhawk I thought I don’t need this, the titans returns version is fine. Then I got in TFwiki and looked at his show model… okay I’m in for the new one.

twin cast I’m a little bit more torn on. I don’t actually need that, and visually (and thematically) it doesn’t really match seige soundblaster. But I’m also reasonably confident that they will redo soundblaster in his earth mode. Maybe I will risk holding out to see if there’s an announcement. I will probably end up getting it, maybe just keeping it in package until I find out one way or another.

Dammit Hasbro!!!! It’s bad enough you got me spending all this money and to get figures like needle nose you’ve never put out. Now you are redoing characters I just bought a few years ago! And making them too good to pass up! FFS

Well Super7 is green lighting a Metal Hawk Pretender shell figure while rubbing their hands together and cackling a lot now I expect.

 

Not thrilled with those pieces of plastic jutting from his forearms, especially since they could've given it a hinge and had it cover up the hollow spot there

Twincast needs a red gun. Another translucent cassette. Metalhawk is once again, only the inner bot. I'll gladly purchase them but there's room for improvement. Again, please, no more half steps for Pretenders. I'm glad cassette characters are being done but opaque plastic is almost always a better choice especially for toys as small as these. I'll be happy to buy Eject and Rewind again in solid colors somehow.

 

I would make it pass as a typical autocorrect mistake buuuuut when that happens is because someone is used to write that particular word.

 

Doubt it. Seems like Super7 is way more interested in making ugly overpriced figures of Sunbow cartoon models.

ok, but none of the modern pretenders have been since potp, so don't expect anything like "real pretenders" anytime soon

rewind is gang-molded with twincast's chest window, like eject before him. so no matter what he was coming with twincast instead of any of the other cassette-bots. it's like laserbeak and ravage coming with the netflix soundwave mold,
ramhorn and steeljaw will most likely come as core class releases, so don't fret
