Plus lets not forget that ugly kibble on the back in Vehicle mode. Hasbro isnt even trying anymore.

Starscream is close to the same size as Megatron as well. If comparing a voyager to a leader class is unfair to the leader class, there’s a problem.

In general I just think it offers a lot less plastic and engineering than most leaders SS has given us. It has very little paint and has skinny hollow legs with 1 step of transformation to them. It also doesn’t help that it’s based on goofy looking control art and not the actual movie design.

Oh for sure. I get not liking a design, but that doesn't make a figure bad.

Did he though? DOTM Megatron was super boxy and also disproportionate, especially in the legs, plus it has hollow bits, iffy paint apps, annoying soft plastic parts, and is still around the same size as the SS Voyager Megatrons. I like that figure fine enough, but he was always one of the weaker SS figures to me despite me owning both regular and Universal versions lmao.

Hmm, just not feeling it. Proportions just look to "off" for me.

I think Hasbro should have waited more before doing these designs in Studio Series. Like how they held off doing the Cybertron characters in Bumblebee until last year.

The actual red eyes are so close together it looks like a child wearing an adult helmet.

This entire design is some kids first edgy / cool Transformers character.

If the smokestack pegs could compress/slide inwards the truck mode would look so much better.

Every new pictures I see, every step I am closer to this guy. His altmode is GREAT and his bot mode looks menacing. I like the way that they used orange/red/gold details to make black shine.

Man...that bot mode is really rough, shame too because the alt mode looks excellent for the most part

This is a cool design IMO. The use of gold and amber accents against the black and grey is a very effective choice. I'm not generally a huge fan of movie designs but this one looks very imposing and cool to me. A good foil for Prime.

I don’t understand why they didn’t just use a faux chest like they have for other leaders like RotF Overload or DotM Megs… or even someone like SS AoE Galvatron, who’s nearly 30 dollars less.

The kibble management all around for this guy is incredibly weird. Why is there even a backpack on this guy when any of the parts could have been relegated to his completely barren arms and legs?

Looks pretty cool! I dunno if I’m in for ROTB figures yet - this one might be an exception - I’m digging the Mad Max style!

Yeah, this is one of the first designs from this film that I'm just not feeling. Too spindly in some places and has weird kibble placement overall. The head looks like a child wearing an adult's helmet. Just feels really awkward and missing the intimidation factor I'd expect from the main villain of a Transformers film. Honestly, this looks like some teenage edgelord's "my first Transformer" design. "He's black, spindly, and pointy like my soul Hasbro!".

I like the wheel placement on the legs. Almost makes him look like he has weird velociraptor legs, which I always enjoy.
