I think its silly to complain about toys your still going to buy especially if you arent even going to wait for a sale, but I'm going to complain just a bit. I was really hoping he was mistransformers. I still really dislike the proportions, skinny ass legs, and long neck. I'm still buying him as soon as I can, but here's hoping they go back and do more accurate toys of these characters.

Oh snap, official photos and it still looks like dooky. :O

I guess now the claim will be that it looks better in-hand, or the person who transformed it did a bad job. Or something.

Damn they gave him the Kingdom Galvatron treatment for those shoulders.

These photos do not do him any favors, imo

This is the most disproportionate, spindly, cheap, overpriced figure I've seen in recent years

I like when I can refuse to get a figure. Not looking for this figure when it comes. Discount or no

Far be it for me of all people to ever defend a movie figure, but I think he looks fine. Not Leader-class fine, mind you. But I'd definitely get him if Amazon has him on sale.

Yeah this is more money saved. Movie designs just don't translate into good Hasbro toys. I can definitely see a 3rd party version of this looking wicked but not worth buying for me as I can't stand how the movie Autobots look

Fantastic! My goodness that truck mode is delightfully evil looking. Love the glowing orange effect in his body. Definitely going to be quite the presence on my baddie shelf.

I was never going to buy this, but it looks okay for what it is. It's another one of those movie designs that clearly wasn't meant to be a toy.

I don’t get movie designs but I can tell you that this is already gonna be a classic design. It has a lot of character. I would not be surprised if it became “G1-ified” into the Generations line in a few years.

If the movie is good and Scourge gets great lines and voice acting, you’ll be looking at the Megatron for a new generation of fans.

Chains wrapped around him looks real cool. I want to like this guy, but the truck roof back kibble sucks pretty hard. In certain angles it's minimized, but....would feel disappointed paying leader price. Barring some insane Siege Shockwave-esque discounts, I think I'll save my money for multiples of SS86 Snarl.

I'm not even excited to see the boxart because I know it'll be based off of the concept art.

Here's his height. SS 2007 Megs was an incredible deal as a Voyager, massive and fully painted. He would've been overpriced as a Leader, but I probably still would have grabbed him. Scourge here is ever so slightly taller, but thinner, and not complete slathered in paint. Transformation looks a little more complex, but parts count doesn't seem to be much higher, and he's priced as a Leader. This figure should have been priced as a Voyager, especially seen next to SS RotF Megs, who is about the same size, complexity, and paint level. Second photo as proof of size

That all said, I still like the look of this figure more than his actual look in the movie, and the figure isn't bad by any means, just overpriced. I'll definitely pick him up if he ever goes on sale for $40us or less

I still don't quite get the negativity going into this figure, he still looks fine. I agree that the legs are a little too skinny and that it is overpriced, lets be honest what isn't nowadays, but it seems like a pretty decent figure otherwise.

I also still find the comparisons with the SS Megatron figures to be a bit... I don't know, disingenuous? Not fair? All because they've always been the extreme on bigger Voyagers, most other Voyagers have been around the size of that SS Galvatron. SS 2007 and SS ROTF Megatron are the exceptions, not the rule.

The actual character design is the issue, I think. Looks too organic and like something from stranger things. The biggest issue is that the aesthetic doesn’t match the vehicle mode… who designed these bots??? And moreover, who approved them???? Lol

Not my thing at all. Happy for those who like him though.
