Anyone with extra faces, 2 of same, or just willing to part out want to part with it/them? Please?!

 

I just recieved and installed the extended neck and shoulder missle effectes from transformer_78....absolutely fantastic parts for an already good figure. as much as i likr the missle effects, the new neck just does it for me. makes him look so much better and increases head articulation by a ton. Thank you my friend!!!!!

ShowZ replacement cod/skirt finally arrived. No more broken skirt. Pin was removed using a watch mallet and whatever that tiny thing is called. Pin is smooth so knock it out at either end. XTB Stack/UM is solid again.

Happy to realize how wrong I was about the faces and the size of Stack once I opened him and got him on the shelf. I am now able to have all of my Autobot movie shelf facing forwards to display as much of the figures as possible, which I couldn't do with THF Hyper Magnum. Stack is such a great looking figure!

Why not? Are you saying Stack is that much slimmer?

 

Things I've done:
- Face painted very light grey, inside of mouth dark grey;
- Removed material from back of neck so he can look up;
- Smoke effect for missile;
- Blast effect for gun.

 

Yeah. They seemed like they were the same width just seeing comparison pics and videos, but Stack is not as wide (arm to arm) as MP-22 and it's KOs.

 

Where did you come up with the blast effect for the weapon??

Sorry if this has already been addressed, but what’s the best remedy to stop the shoulders from unscrewing themselves?

 

Always rotate them clockwise

No, it's just the way it was designed with a screw.
There are several bots out there that have the same issue, its not limited to Stack or XTB.
Just rotate it clockwise and you'll never have an issue. If you don't and it does fall off, its still only a matter of putting it back on and rotate it clockwise till you feel the ratchet again

 

The screw heads are just as wide as the hole they are in so when you rotate the arm, you are dragging the screw head with it causing it to unscrew. A few solutions

1 - glue the screw in, small amount of oil on the head. The screw will be locked in place and the oil help rotate the arm with out turning the head on the screw
2 - use a screw with a smaller shoulder
3 - sand the screw head edges or sand the plastic is sitting in

The last options probably the least damaging, a light sand of the plastic just enough for it to not drag on the screw head is probably the least damaging and quickest

 

Thanks to @transformer_78 for sending me the bigger neck piece so my Magnus can look more up and down (please excuse the bad lighting, I just got done with it now and wouldn't have had time to take pictures until the weekend)

The head was easy to take off. Kind of like switching the face but undoing the 2 little screws on eachside.

The new neck is a couple mm bigger than the older one so it won't screw up the scale and give him better head articulation.

Plus looks nicer with the white, and you can't tell it was 3d printed.

 

He really pairs beautifully with MS-02.
