Ooooooh. As a watch fan, I'm definitely interested in this. But a $300 watch marketed as "for kids"?!?! Yikes.
“The Transformers-themed Z8 watch is perhaps the perfect piece of gear for children. It has everything they’d possibly want, from a blue-and-red design that hat-tips Optimus Prime, to an actual folding design that reveals two cameras”
Kinda neat, I guess. Seems a bit pricey for a thing you buy for your kids. I know kids usually have phones these days, but... yeah.
Looks way too childish for the price. Remake the Kronoform (“Madonna endorsed”) from the 1980s please.
Primus, for that price you could get an actual Apple Watch. And even if you imagine a fantastical world where this could match a "real" smartwatch in functionality, who's buying their kid a $295 watch?!
Wow… And I thought the smart watch bands a while back had little to identify the characters from in their designs… This doesn’t appear to have any actual design cues from Optimus Prime apart from his color scheme.
Compared to new $500 gaming consoles, tablets and $1,000 phones, this is a steal! Fucking christ, no wonder kids are entitled these days.
PEOPLE: \"Tell me you\'re a sucker and Transformers whore, without telling me\" ME: \"I need this\" I mean it doesn\'t Transform into a cool bot like the watch I had back in the early 80s, but who cares I guess? Would have been amazing if it could transform. Like my Robosen Optimus Prime...
Beat me to it with your comment. people on here complain about prices of transformers but to everything else cellphone prices and monthly phone bill, streaming service monthly/year plans transformers toys are still cheap except for watches and phones. smart watch don’t think so smart phones and smart watches , tvs and cars are not smart they get hacked by hackers smart devices will find ways prevent that from happening
fuck man, I remember being a kid asking my parents for a $20-$30 toy thinking that was pushing it. Kids and teens nowadays demand a new $1,000 phone every few years when a new one releases, and then throws a hissy fit when they don't get it. I'm glad I was technically a glorified 90's kid, because I kinda got the best of both worlds being in-between decades.
