Just finished a Proud Mode playthrough of KH: Dream Drop Distance, and started Critical mode on New Game Plus. I gotta say, grinding out Spirits and Special Portals was pretty worth it, since it made the endgame fights a breeze (for the most part).

I've had Super Mario Odyssey since the first day it was released and just recently started playing it, and man! This is a fun game! There are Moons all over the place and so many little puzzles to solve in addition to all of the exploring! I just finished getting all the Moons in New Donk City except for the one that's WAY out on an island. I'll figure out how to get there eventually.

If you have a fear of falling, this isn't the game for you because you WILL fall off a cliff or cloud at some point. WAAAAAAAA...

    Crisis Core Reunion

All the changes they made to this game are fantastic. It's gonna be really difficult to go back the the original PSP version

Death Stranding was free on the Epic store over Xmas, so I finally started playing it recently and after a couple of hours mostly spent watching cutscenes, all I have to say is... What?

Just... what? For starters: Why do five blokes keep appearing in the sky? Why is Guillermo del Toro carrying around a baby in a bottle of piss? In a world of exploding corpses, why is it so bloody difficult to get to an incinerator? Why am I being attacked by a squid whale thingy? Can I actually play the game yet or do I have to listen to another hour of cutscenes laden with baffling terminology? Is it even worth it? What was Kojima smoking and where can I get some?

And most importantly: Why does the game insist on showing me Norman Reedus's arse?

You clearly aren't on enough drugs.

But yeah, that's Kojima. The reason why the Metal Gear games were so good were because someone filters him and told him to reign it back in. Death Stranding is him completely unfiltered, and unless you are on every drug imaginable, most normal people will find it a lot too much. He should never be completely unfiltered because he goes way too far off the deep end.

And when in doubt, take more drugs.

I’m now around 100 hours into Horizon Forbidden West, and it’s still extremely satisfying to skillfully take down machines. It makes the player feel like a badass.

I needed shell-walker lightning guns to craft an upgrade, so I found a group of 3. Shot off their lightning guns while still in hiding, then override one and watched it defeat the other 2. Then used my Sharpshot Bow Focused Shot ability to hit the last one it its weak point to destroy it in one hit.

Currently still pretty overleveled for the main quest; I’m at level 47 and my next main quest task is level 35. I’ve already completed the salvage questline which nets you the game’s best armor (from what I’ve heard), but it needs upgraded and the parts are difficult to get.

Dead Space remake, wonderful game. Just chugging through new game plus at the moment, taking it all in (again). Can’t wait to see if they go for a Dead Space 2 remake…

Been playing Skyrim for the first time in about a decade and I'm liking it a lot more than the last time I played it, but I'm also playing it a bit differently. Going through the Dawnguard DLC at the moment and just got the horse and dragon that I can summon.

I got olliolli World free with this months PlayStation plus subscription and its an unexpected pleasure. It's basically a perfect middle ground between Tony Hawks pro Skater and Unirally. The cell shaded graphics and eccentric characters also add to the charm of it all. It seems to strike a nice balance between being easily accessible and having a high skill celling to eventually work towards as I'm cruising through the skate parks but I will almost certainly be revisiting the earlier levels once I have a full knowledge of how everything works and I have suitably practiced. So far it has all the making of becoming a hidden gem that I would recommend to most people

SD Gundam Battle Alliance! Really fun game and unlike the Musou series even the grunts can pack a punch! Going into the final stages now! But I want to unlock a few more mobile suits before completing the game!

Did a couple rounds of the Friday the 13th game. Found 2 cassette tapes in a single round.
These are rare little bonuses that show up at random, and unlock audio recordings of Jason’s mom or his rival, Tommy. Just adds to the story some.
I’ve played for over 100 hours and still haven’t found them all (33 total IIRC), and to have 2 drop in a single match is unheard of. So it was a good time.

Ran into a funny glitch while playing Skyrim last night. While outside of my house (Myrwatch) a dragon attacked. Afterwards, one of my kids (Lucia) was registering as an enemy and trying to run away from me. Figured loading into a new area might fix it, so I went inside. Once inside both Sarana and my wife (Lydia) started attacking Lucia. Ultimately I just left and went to Whiterun and waited like a week before going back to the house where everything seemed to have sorted itself out.

Too bad that doesn’t work in real life when there’s family strife ;)
Wife and kid not getting along? Take a week vacation to the Bahamas and everything will work out :D

Started playing Jump King today, wow this game is hard. Glad to have it and be playing through it, but I barely got ANYWHERE after a hour of constant jumping (failing) then falling back to beginning of the game.
