I didn't like the flat surface with the peg on the boots. Hell, I hate the boots on all the Victoy Sabers. I think it's the worst thing about the figure. No ratchets and all its still the best Victory Saber to pose.

Considering how much Kadmos' ratchets were criticized I'd say no ratchets was a good move. Hell the replacement joints for Kadmos are friction and are so much better.

hmmm in the case of Kadmos, you might be right, so it makes sense they went with Leo the same. Still could use some weight in the leg areas.

That's interesting. Haslab looks like it may pop more. I just assumed the planet x one had it beat in every which way. Since you have both, what are your thoughts?

Haslab is more of a toy and playable as you would expect.

the PX looks more “professional” and more of a display piece and looks “cooler” , but harder to transform and play with.

one thing that’s interesting is that the PX feels 3x as heavy as the haslab

While I sold my Haslab Victory Saber in favor of this set and never actually opened it, I will say that the Haslab is already yellowing for some people, as well as having numerous qc issues and breakages for many and would likely not be a good long term choice. The Planet X is very playable, posable, and fun for a third party figure and I couldn't recommend it more.

I prefer the PX, I’m more into updated designs and the lion head chest is awesome.

3 wing design reminds me of freedom gundam as well.

the Starsaber updated head really fixed the only the problem with the PX

Oh jeez, do you know where I can read about this? This is rather concerning but I'm still interested in learning more.

Is there no way to get the upgraded parts for SS outside of buying Victory Leo?

The figure looks nice, but I’m trying to save a penny or three nowadays :/

I prefer my haslab. More playable, easier transformation, less worried about breakage, no parts left over in combined mode. PX is great though don't get me wrong.

Maybe I misread the thread, but I believe I saw some copies of the Haslab yellowing slightly. I'm struggling to come up with examples though, so I could be mistaken.

Is there a place for Star Saber's wings to go?

Got my Leo, made some quick adjustments. Not perfect, but still a better eye position nonetheless.
