That’s on you, then. I’d rather risk having imperfections than not having them at all. Most stores will exchange for you.. And…? What’s wrong with a preorder when the alternative is not having them? Edit: I don’t mean to come off as a dick, I just get annoyed when people complain (not you specifically) about not being able to get something when that something was available to preorder or buy online for months. I call it “Siege Skywarp Syndrome”.
Well you are coming off as a dick so chill. You were making it sound like they were in stock at ee is the reason I said that.
Mine is in my BBTS POL. Walmart hasnt stocked any Legacy deluxes beyond wave 1 except for the Velocitron stuff. You cant even put him on Menasor's left arm despite Deadend being a Dragstrip remold, never mind on the legs.
Wild rider is the deal for me. I got a couple Motomasters without preordering and would like a couple sets of limbs. New waves and even lines are arriving and I'm putting off buying the new stuff because I might find a couple Wild riders at the next stop. What's the term for that? Pre not selling?
I picked one up at Target. There was a second one on the shelf... the dude who checked me out was a TF fan and started chatting me up about them... I was like dude, you have to go back there and get him NAOOOO lol. I have not seen one since.
Odd. I was able to pick up both Dead End and Wildrider at my local Smyths with no problem. Then again, Smyths got them as solid cases... and never got any of the other Deluxes past wave 1. Had to order those online instead.
*shrug* no idea how Hasbro distribution works. I order them online, or if I get lucky, find them in stores.
Man, must suck for people that actually want Menasor. Thank God that toon-accuracy killed my urge to buy Menasor (which wasn’t that strong to begin with, considering Menasor is the worst G1 Decepticon combiner).
The solid cases need to happen over here too. Whatever is happening mostly effects the Legacy deluxe waves. I haven't had much trouble with Voyager and leader class or studio series.
I dont understand how a combiner that should have 5 generally equally produced components winds up with a ratio of nearly 3-1 in favor of dragstrips.
Blame those awful BW repaints for poor Deluxe distribution. They've been clogging Walmart pegs since May - 8 full months of Nightprowler, Sandstorm, and Buzzsaw. Subsequent Deluxe waves were never gonna get stocked in high volume with those things hanging on like grim death.
Yeah Motormaster is available in such abundance here in the UK, that he’s available discounted to £45.
Something is weird about the distribution of Deadend. I placed an order for him 2 months ago at DeepDiscount with a “back order” status. A few weeks later, I get a cancellation notice. This usually means they are not expecting this wave again in the future.
