Nothing will happen till Chinese New Years ends. I still have packages stalled in the mail over it.

It can go into February in some parts. They will go till about 2/5. So while stores online may open up again, some mail carriers may still not be forwarding mail. Learned that fun lesson a few years back.

 

You get 10 days off for CNY as I recall.

 

It's generally better to believe most shops reopen by or after Valentine's Day but for 100% with factories up and running it'd be March.

 

Right. I've never tried to corroborate it but what people around here have told me is a lot of factory workers don't come back after the break so it takes a while to get new ones hired and trained.

 

I don't know about that. As far as I know, people leave the factory, but it's not like they quit. They just leave to go home and spend time with family during CNY. Once it's over, they go back to work. A lot of people are from out of town, and a lot of factory jobs are on the outskirts of the big cities.

 

I'm going by what I experienced last year and I'm sure there are those who have a couple CNYs under their belt with an order. Last year after things shut down for CNY services like customer service and shipping stock slowly came back after it was over but things like new figures hitting the shelves or new reveals didn't start happening until March. Basically its just good to expect half of January and about all of February to be a dead month for our hobby.

 

According to tradition, CNY only ends after the Lantern Festival, which is celebrated on the 15th day of the New Year. The thing is there's tradition and then there's business. In many countries with significant Chinese population like those in South East Asia, people only get one or two days off at most. In China, people get at least one week off, but I think it's really up to companies as to when workers are required to come back.

 

Guys, have a question here. I got MS-01X, he is pretty awesome and love the metallic color scheme.

When people say MS-02 is a light figure, wonder if it is similar to MS-01X? MS-01X is a light figure too.

 

I am also curious to know how light it is. I think it’s the best looking of all the mp primes.

I might get it and try to put some energy into bringing it to where I’d like it to be finish wise.
I’m wondering if it’s easy to disassemble. Is it mostly screws or is there a lot of pins?
