Being a reskin of a Voyager would certainly work in terms of scale and Cheetor's increase in size as seen in the show.

 

On the topic of Beast Machines Generations figures, would BM fans buy a retool of the upcoming Voyager class Legacy UNI Silverbolt as Savage Noble?

Make the beast-mode a dragon, give the bot-mode a wolf-like head...

 

I would if they could successfully pull off swapping the colors between modes. I'm not sure if Silverbolt's transformation would play into that very well though

 

I wouldn't be happy about it but I'd still buy it. I'd imagine only one of the two forms would be done well if they took that approach since so much would have to be retooled. Overall it'd be a neat novelty like the Legends Noble toy, but obviously it wouldn't be ideal.

 

In my head, the bot-mode was still a majority of red, much like the original figure, with a blue chest, head and underside of the wings. The way Silverbolt's loincloth unfolds for bot-mode means that blue is hidden away in beast-mode.

The dragon beast-mode could be quite a nice retool. Articulated head, double tail, articulated wings.

Although, a new thought has just occurred to me: They make him a straight-up Fuzor. Half wolf, half dragon (instead of eagle). Wolf head, dragon wings, a double tail and some scales in spots instead of fur. Paint it red and blue. Done. This would also bolster the Fuzor ranks, which, until Quickstrike is leaked in some listings, currently sits at 1.

 

I'm very much up for new fuzors. We needed some that used extinct species... but just more in general.

I thought of and sketched several years ago but the only one coming to mind was what was supposed to be a Fuzor beast mode of piranha and surinam horned frog.

Turns out that looked an awful lot like an organic Sharkticon...

Anyway, I had thought poison dart frog but I wanted her to be essentially a mud monster. The surinam horned frog was ok until I saw the Surinam Toad: bland color, dorsoventrally flattened, and omg how it births! Disgusting... so that was it.

Her name was Gnashty and she could deploy mini drones from her beast mode back. Think "Gremlins" but its Scraplets popping out...

I would love to see new Fuzors as well. Been having this idea for a Predacon that turns into a rattlesnake/centipede for a while now.

 

Sounds nightmarish! Got a name? What would you think about "Death March"?

I actually found the sketches I was talking about before... turns out I had done a design for a centipede beast mode for a "Schism" story idea where after dying, Transmutate kinda pulled a T1000 but /2 because of its loyalties to each friend. (or maybe each one rebuilt it from what parts they could salvage) Rampage's Transmutate had a centipede beast mode and Silverbolt's was a Cassowary.

I also apparently thought of Sir Pent (never finalized that name) that was a Magmatron style separator whoss beast mode was 5 different snakes.

Anyway, I still like my design ideas but my "art" never improved since like 1st grade. 
It was prior to the Surinam toad discovery, so it's just frog/piranha in general, but at the risk of much ridicule (because internet) I give you "Gnashty"

(again, yes I realized how much like a Sharkticon she looked, and yes, she had eyeboobs in bot mode... I guess "just don't look her in the eyes")

 

Going by Beast Wars naming logic, I was thinking Serpentpede @DracoPrimal.

 

In the Post-WFC thread but someone brought up the idea of the next idea for Modulators being Beast characters and you can create your own fuzors. So many possibilities for that.

Saw that, too. If fully functional in the same way as the Legacy Junkions are supposed to be, I'd hear them out... see them out?... they'd have my interest.
