I think it's okay, but the hands need to be the same color as the front legs to sell the cat mode, also the cat head needs a lot of paint otherwise...
It's kinda cool.

 

I like it, and i dig the weapons. Not bad honestly, the mainline toy looks great too but it feels more in line with the Legacy figures.

 

That works way too well. I wonder if the beast mode could work with just a new head and tail. The rest of it is pretty bulky, so it might not make a bad wolf.

 

Neat crossover idea, and easy remold... Hasbro has both properties, slamdunk.

Ok enough for today, lol. Sometimes, with all the resources and history. Creative artistry is difficult to execute. But I’ll be laughing my butt off if they give Cheetor the Hotrod French treatment.

 

Honestly i love it! Kinda makes me wonder what Cheetor looked ike in his prime( Ive heard that the maximals are old in this movie so that would explain the dull colors and rust).
Also, has anyone heard that rumor that the predacons got locked up by the maximals on earth which is why we dont see them? Does anyone know if thats possibly true?

 

Honestly it looks like a culmination from Season 1
to BM bringing us into the present. I suppose ROTB is an alternative to Beast Machines seeing as it also takes place after the Beast Wars have ended, but the maximals have won this time, so I really don\'t have an issue with these designs at all.

I get a mixed vibe of both his Beast Machines and TM2 robot modes. And I mean all over. Really blends the two nicely where it’s not like any one part is distinctively pulled from one or the other. But I definitely see inspiration from both versions in this. I honestly like it.

Though I wouldn’t have been opposed to it looking more like the mainline version we saw that came with a gut gun.

people Here are saying he has too much influence even as a producer, yet go to the spoiler thread and you see people saying bay doesn\'t wield influences anymore. 

 

My complaint so far (aside from the dull color) is that his head looks... kind of weird flat? Like the front crown is not high enough, and the side crown is just... there? But then you have the... dome behind it? Like, it's flat or weird or bald, I can't really point it out.

i like how he looks moreso than the mainline one. too bad they couldn't have given us a head that lacks the battle mask, but there's always buzzworthy for that

Is there like....some kind of worldwide paint shortage that I'm not aware of? The almost complete lack of paint apps on this figure significantly harm it. The mold itself is actually pretty great, particularly the lack of kibble and overall aesthetic...but man. There's just NO paint detail at all beyond a bit on the chest and the spots.

I know there IS more than that (forearms, etc) but it's critically lacking on some major elements - the cheetah head and the robot lower legs stick out like sore thumbs.

 

Yeah, not for me at all... Odd color, bland as hell looking sculpt, and a pose that makes me question the anatomical sense of the person posing the cheetah mode in that first image.

/who knew cheetahs had knees that could bend forward or backward?

 

Come on! This Robot Mode looks 99% Beast Wars DINOBOT and 1% Cheetor!!
