I put together the Yoga Flame cab this morning. It's definitely slightly bigger than the old cabs. Mainly it's a couple inches taller, and the front control deck adds up to 2 inches to the width of the front. The result is that the controls are a bit higher and the screen is at a better viewing angle. It looks and feels more like a legit cabinet than a 3/4 scale one. I really notice it when I go to my MK2 Legacy cab.

I was a little disappointed that the side panels on the sides of the control deck actually cover up some of the side art. It felt wrong covering up Ryu's fist with a black side panel. The older cabs don't compromise the side art like that, but their controls are more squashed in comparison. Oh well. Also was a little worried when I booted up the system and found that there were no per-game option settings for difficulty, scan lines, and the like. Had to connect to wifi and have it look for an update which gave me those options. So out of the box, the games on the cab are missing customizable options unless you update. Not really a fan of the new game select menu. You don't see any of the other games in the game list like you do on the old legacy cabs, but you do see the high score listings for each though. Wish there were an option to switch between menu viewing styles.

After I put it all together I found the octogonal restrictor plates for the joysticks. This worried me as I essentially had leftover parts and the main assembly instructions never mentioned them. There's an extra paper that tells you how to install them but doesn't really tell you why, that I saw at least. I had to google. Turns out the default joysticks have a squarish restrictor plate. I'm reading that the octogonal is better for fighting games. I can see this being important for competitive play, because you don't want to accidentally fall out of a low blocking stance for example. My concern is what it does or doesn't do for the other non-Street Fighter games on the cab? Any one have an opinion on this?

My only nitpick with this cab is that the main menu doesn't have an attract mode that will advertise the various games on the cab like the MK2 Legacy does. Instead it just eventually loads whatever game you last left highlighted on the menu select. That's being real nitpicky though since my other 2 cabs(Pacman Legacy and Tempest Legacy) don't have an attract mode either.

Overall the Yoga Flame slightly pretty much delivered what I expected. The new cab design is nice.

Street Fighter Cab with 14 Capcom games. Arcade1up is calling it the Yoga Flame because of the side art on the cab having a flame background behind the characters. Dhalsim doesn't feature prominently on the side art either, he's just one of many.

Well damn. I was imagining that it was some obscure dance dance revolution knock off, but with yoga.

Found this Arcade 1up Marvel Superheroes countercade at Target for $150. It has Marvel Superheroes, the Punisher, X-Men vs. Street Fighter and Marvel vs. Capcom. This usually goes for $240+. I absolutely have no place to put it, but for that price, I couldn't pass it up. I had some credit from all of my continuous Target shopping, so I ended up paying $130 for it!.. Now, how do I hide this from my wife? It's still in my car! :lol

Target also had Ms. Pac-Man, which includes Pac-Man, Galaga and Dig Dug, I think.

The Atari 50th cab has to have the most bland and generic cab deco Arcade1up has ever done. Who's this design for? I'm in the market to replace my Tempest because of the potential encoder issue, but not with something that's such a remarkable eye-sore. Reddit seems to think it will eventually be re-skinned as an Asteroids cab given the build resembles the old cab. I hope so.
