Dunno if these are new News, but today I found these in Kerrison Toys in Great Yarmouth, UK. Pardon my crappy camera quality. Only Bumblebee and Starscream (Titan Master for scale) in Series One, but Optimus is also pictured in the pack-in leaflet. Lots of toy brands are in this line of micro collectables, from MotU (Skeletor is a 'Rare', booooo!), TMNT, MLP, G.I. Joe, Barbie, Hot Wheels and many more. Available in several different size packs. Mine were in a five-pack for £5.99, but I saw a ten pack (six toys visible, four blind bagged) for £9.99 and an even larger pack, which might've been fifteen toys. Great prop fodder for anyone doing photocomics, creating your own mini toyshop or just to put tiny TF with a citybot or maybe with the new Ark figure.
Sorry to necro bump thread... Anyone know when Series 2 is being released to retail? Is Optimus Prime in that Series? Any other TFs characters?
I think it's already out Stateside. It was originally slated for here in the UK for last September, but that never happened. Loads of places still trying to shift old stock of Series One at reduced prices so I don't know if stores even WANT to get in Series Two. It was frustratingly hard (and costly) to get a complete set of Series One, so I think a lot of people just gave up. I have everything of Series One, including the variants, except the white rifle. That damn white rifle... As for Australia, dunno. Have you tried asking toyshops? I don't remember Optimus, or any other TF in Series Two. New G.I. Joe and Power Rangers are though. I'm mainly interested in the MotU figures in it.
The only place I can find that actually has series 2 in stock is Toywiz and they claim it was released back in april of 2022. World's Smallest Micro Toy Box Series 2 Mystery Box [27 Packs]
Ah okay. I thought it was rumored Optimus Prime was part of Series 2. I've got Bee & Screamer from Series 1. Was hoping for Optimus to compliment my 'Worlds Smallest' Transformers action figures of Optimus, Bee & Screamer.
Confusion might've been caused by the leaflet that was in early Series One stock showing lots of other micro toys and Optimus was one of them. It's entirely possible it was me that mistakenly claimed early on Optimus was going to be in Series Two due to that same confusion.
