Here's a pic of him front and center for a better comparison.

Pangu's looks too small next to magic square's which is the one I have.

i have to agree that Pangu looks to be a tad small compared to the current line of NA/MS devy, MS menasor and Zeta superion i have.

also Pangu's head seems a tad small for the body. NA head seems better proportionally, and it's chunkier and broader profiles makes it look more imposing.

I don't know--I think the head size looks fine. But yes, he's not towering over either Devy like he should.

That all said, I've never liked how tall legends combiners are these days. Still love my Iron Factory Bruticus (which I'll be keeping), and I think that height works well. It's too bad there's nothing else that height other than DX9's Hulkie (which is 'quaintly' fun, but dated). People having an issue with this guy's height at least have an option in NA.

I'll be sticking with this one. Good price, height that I want, and it sounds like the quality of plastic is solid. Hope to clean up some of those 'edges' that aren't aligning properly, but I also don't think they'll bother me much if there's not much I can do.

Yeah I guess listed sizes are incorrect cuz Michael looks more than 1/4 inch taller. And i'd hope NA would scale OS to their own Devastator properly. I'm content with my decision on Pangu though for half the price of NA. OS wasn't ever a figure I was dying to get, the NA ones legs are too fat with a thin upper body, little baby claw and jutting out chest piece that made me say, $175-200 for this? Pass.. I will take an NA Spreem though or a dumbed down $40/50 off "F" version of Michael.

TBH, if NA hadn't revealed their version, i would have had my nitpicks, but prob would have picked this up. the look is there and the price is good. but then if NA had revealed theirs later down the road, i'd be in a pickle. :p

it's good in the sense that i saved my money not getting this now, but also is bad since i'm gonna spend at least double, if not more, getting the NA version.

ppl say having options is good, but sometimes i think it's bad, at least for me. it makes me look and analyze details with a more critical eye that i may not have even thought were important, but only came up because i made the comparisons. :(

A pic like this make me feel fine about size. You stick omega 1 inch front and boom, looks spot on. I rarely ever shoulder to shoulder figures like class picture day.

And a picture like this makes me excited to have chosen the Pangu version. Mine just touched down in NYC and en route to the post office so should be getting it in a day or 2 which I'm psyched about

Edit: after watching Larkin's Lair vid on the last page, he mentioned the fig has some heft and the plastic doesn't feel cheap. So that's a plus.

PT-02 OS is a good figure. In some pictures it looks smaller, and in some pictures it looks bigger .. it sounds confusing   For those people for whom scale is not a problem I'm sure he won't make a mistake with him ( including me, I expect a guardian version from them especially cuz of the lower price ).

Standing straight, head flat on top of the torso, he is 25.8cm/10.15in tall to the top of his head:

Thanks to the head joint that allows him to look up and down, you can probably get another 7-10mm out of it.

The Video review was very convincing.

The rocket's gangplank design is awesome. The face-swivel situation is incredible. I also like the way the Torso/Tank conversion happens. But my favorite part is that they finally found a way to minimize the puzzle-forming legs! I understand that the original Omega Supreme was a complete puzzle-former, but I have always wanted to see a more integrated design for this guy. I knew it was possible!

...I still the the NA version is a couple points better, mainly due to the extreme articulation and the ability to recreate some of the scenes in his Featured episode. But I am definitely keen to grab some blue "Guardian" versions of this.

Comparison wise, imo the NA blows the Pangu out the water. It just has nice accentuated Omega characteristics such as the big head with facial features visible, not squashed in slightest. It has nice wide shoulders for dramtic poses, compared to the very the narrow seeming ko dx9. The chest is neatly done with the top section defined, the waist isn't an after thought(dx9 were not the greatest at waists). And finally it scales well with everything, no squinting needed. Plus clever transform and hi quality finishes. The one critiscism of the NA is it is very toon dedicated for a large figure and for some that make it seem a little like a big dolly i imagine.

Both have Omega features done to different degrees, omega features are really subjective.

But i am still happy to go with Pangu, indeed a pitty they didnt have the good sense to cover both MST and NA sizes and left themselves open to both markets. I am happy to reward a company that did have sense to produce a figure that doesnt need to break the bank thus giving fans choice.

I actually like how the Pangu OS is t such a chunky boy. The NA version has some thunder thighs. That being said, the NA version’s articulation is crazy good and I like the slightly more complex transformation and the fact that there’s a guided track for tank mode (Pangu is more like Siege OS in this regard). In the end, I trust NA’s quality, while Pangu is an unknown. A figure of this size is t something I’m going to double dip on (even if Pangu made a blue one), so I’ll likely get NA unless it costs like $200. NA needs to release final pricing already.

    He’s here!!!
I’m no reviewer so bear with me.
    Initial thoughts:
Scale : not quite perfect for legends. He’s a bit tiny but he works ok.
Joints : All friction but are toleranced well.
Paint : very sharp and there’s a decent amount where needed.
Sculpt : 1 to 1 copy of Gabriel so no complaints
Heft : he’s shockingly heavy for having no diecast that I can tell
Robot mode : no issues and no QC mold flash that makes any differences.

Will go into base mode later tonight!

    EDIT:

I’ve come across one flaw on my copy sadly. The clearance to rotate the face plate isn’t big enough on mine and it scratched the nose pretty good. So that’s a bummer. I need to find matching paint for that now but not the worst thing.
Base mode is super smooth to transform to and fun to mess with. Everything tabs in nicely and there isn’t any plastic flex or anything needed. They’ve kept a lot of the nice sturdy joints connectors from the DX9.

    Good review, nice pictures.
That scratch is nothing really, the smaller the scratch the less the paint has to match perfectly.. just a tiny dab will fill it and should never think about it again. Well thats my logic anyway.

Based on the NA dev in both photos here's a rough idea of them side by side. There's not enough in it to care about for me as for size discrepancy but im sure plenty will moan.
