Heads up kids, FP Manchester has Tarns and Lio Convoys going out for sale tomorrow. They’re solid cases of each and it looked like they had two of each. I can’t remember the price but I want to say £31.99.

Forgot to tell you all this earlier - got up to go to the office this morning a bit earlier as there’s not enough seats in our area so if you get in too late you end up sitting on yer tod at the other side of the office. Come down stairs and the cats are milling about. I see Claude has his paw under their cardboard chaise longue next to the stairs, like he’s trying to get something out from under it, so I lift it up so he can get his ball or whatever it is he’s after. Next thing I know, Clarence has shot over to it and then sat hunched over next to the radiator making a growling noise. Claude looks bewildered and Clarence won’t stop growling. I bend down to check on him and he hurls himself into the kitchen and wedges himself into the far corner, under the chair next to my work desk, growling the whole time. I’m trying to get a look at him but he’s wriggling around and I can’t see his face. Suddenly I see a black thread hanging out of the corner of his face and I panic, thinking he’s trying to swallow something he’s found on the floor, so I shout Mrs O to come down and help me quickly. Suddenly he makes a bolt for it and I can now see that it’s not a thread hanging out of his mouth, it’s a bloody mouse’s tail! He’s got a mouse in his gob and its arse and tail are hanging out !!
Mrs O comes down and we corner him in the hall and get him to drop it, but it’s not dead and legs it into the kitchen!! Clarence chases after it and gets it in his mouth again and it’s clear that although he’s acting on instinct and can’t help chasing something so small moving around, he has absolutely zero idea of what to do once he has it. He’s not eating or mauling it, he’s just holding it in his mouth and growling.
Mrs O manages to drag it out of his mouth again and it’s still not dead! It’s covered in drool but intact and twitching. It’s obviously not going to survive much longer so we need to put it out of its misery, so while Mrs O wrangles Clarence I wrap the poor bedraggled tiny mouse in some kitchen roll and bash it with my fists until it stops moving. Mrs O then flushes it down the toilet.
This was all before fucking 8 o’clock this morning.
    Fucking cats.

I can relate to this..I was always going to into BOOTS of all places to get my Animated 3 for 2 deals! I used to get so excited going to check after work every week - just incase they had a new shipment! Ahhh...Do you mean the amazing Purple and Yellow Silverbot...Im not surprised..you have pure nostalgia 'feels' - I have wanted that figure for Years ;)

Is there really such a thing as a Green deco warpath? I think I saw one somewhere but am unsure?

E-Hobby put out a set of G1 Minibots in alt. colours with Gobot names, Treds , a green warpath was one of 'em IIRC. I believe he was a Decepticon because it was the name, and homage alt. mode to a Renegade? Uh, nope - turns out he was a Guardian infiltrator!

It’d have been game over for me if I had the adult money I have now back then :D  the Silverbolt I’m referring to is this geezer

Think this was actually Universe 2.0? It was the same assortment as that non combining APC Onslaught that I desperately wanted but never found   I do know of the Silverbolt you’re referring to though one of my mates at school had it and he’d bring it to school to play with in the playground along with his Energon Grimlock for me :)  if I had that one and still had it I’d probably sell it to you honestly :p

Really? I had Henkei Silverbolt and Onslaught years ago. They were fine for their time (Onslaught still has a cool transformation), but they've been largely supplanted by their CW counterparts. Why look back at earlier figures with rose-tinted goggles when you have newer figures that can combine?

I’ve never seen that Skyfall one before that’s really cool, think I’d have had that over Silverbolt really!

Combiner wars figures (with the exception of the combiners themselves!) It’s more figures than you think.

Sarcasm aside, Legacy Hot Shot really is crap. Why bring back the Axlezooka if it doesn't fire anything? He lacks silver rims and even his Minicon partner Jolt, which at least the Universe figure remembered to include. Henkei Hot Shot will always take the top spot with its extra guns..... Legacy-shmegacy!

I think legacy hot shot is ok, just really not my sort of thing. If his proportions were more hotshot-y, I'd be more interested.

All those random figures i occasionally picked up between beast wars and combiner wars

Except that kickass prime and Magnus duo that combine , they are staying for life

I think for me it’s less lines and more just low quality figures in terms of likeness, poseability or QC
