You know what yeah probably still was. But either way I wish they went this route tbh. I feel like even though the silver is more striking, this looks better overall.

Kinda like Buzzworthy B-127, there wasn’t any silver on him really but he still looked good mainly the face.

 

It does also just the bare dark grey plastic they used looks better than what we see on this Bee also

All they have to do is give rotb bee this style of deco and a battlemask and ill buy it in a heartbeat. Fingers crossed for it to happen before the year ends.

I’d prefer it with his face showing but I wouldn’t be surprised if they give him his battlemask to replicate the scene with Scourge from the trailer though.

 

While we don't have much info, Sam implied the arm blade was originally planned as part of a different release so maybe some kind of "battle damaged" or final battle deco

 

Maybe it’s for that Buzzworthy Jungle Escape two pack? But i don’t remember it having SS next to it. If it’s not it’s likely for the normal Camaro version.

 

Best I could find is that there was another listing code name "bb ss 3" which is not the leader reissue but the same price as the leader and 86 2 pack, with the second in mind it could be another deluxe and voyager pack my guess assuming its the jungle escape pack is bee and cheetor.

Edit: it could also be g2 grimlock but we don't know what capsule he's a part of yet.

It is sad to see that Hasbro has done fair a bit of sculpting work on the face but is kind of 'ruined' by the lack of paint...

 

If it just had that silver around the eyes I'd be getting it. But I also want the normal Camaro version so hopefully that version has it (but I could see it being the battlemask face).

 

I have a feeling that if Hasbro is going to make a normal Camaro version; Hasbro still wouldn't paint more of the face since they probably think that if they can get away with this off-road version (I'm sure regardless of how we complain, it will sell); and there is no reason for them to put in extra effort on the next version of bee. Unless we have enough people turning away from their products otherwise I don't see they will make much changes. For now, I'm not getting this Bee but I'm certain it will still gets sold out.

 

I think they'll if it's unmasked paint it possibly will be. This version was supposed to be painted be like the render has it but didn't happen. They probably could have fit it in if they got rid of that black stripe on the roof of the Camaro that is inaccurate to begin with.

If they don't then I'll just wait and see how the mainline ROTB Deluxe Bumblebee looks.

It won't most figures these days don't. Some do but a lot don't.

 

I think it is more about whether Hasbro thinks what they can do to the bare minimum and still sells their products. As to whether it will get sold out; I'm referring to this bee (since this thread is about this particular version of Bee) since normally the popular one do get sold out quite often.
