Yeah, I know they're separate characters technically, but c'mon... they're all Optimus really. And it's boring. Stick a new head on Leo Prime, maybe do his torso in yellow or something, and he'll be more interesting to me. As it stands, I've got far too many Optimi.

Clearly I'm magic. I moan about it online, and they appear in Smyth's as I drop in on the way back.

Two potters was not a good start, but two falconers made it all worthwhile. I can put one potter in the upstairs of a modular buildings and convert it into a studio. I also want to do a big remodeling of the interior of the town hall to turn it into a museum, as Lego are steadfastly refusing to do one themselves...

Oh wow, that's pro quality art right there! I shall need to give that a read.

Now trying to remember who on Twitter it was I found who did a short comic involving the Lost Light crew visiting real Earth, was similarly very professional looking artwork and the like.

I'd guess they're those big figs they do in the more kid targeted lines maybe? I remember Cyberverse had some old leader sized figs.

They say there's no such thing as a bad idea, only bad execution. Let's hope that the director of this film can execute these ideas better than Bay did :)
That said, I'd have loved another film with a more Bumblebee vibe too... in another universe I'd have liked Bee and Charlie to go on a road trip or something as the setup for 2-3 films. Like maybe it's not safe for Charlie to stay in her home town anymore or something?

I think I sold my Ransack for around £20... granted I paid more than £15 for my set but eh, entirely up to you IMO :)

So my replacement Chun-Li fig has just arrived, along with a Core Class Hot Rod I ordered to make up the postage and I wanted his sword thingy :D
Need to get Corewarp and his sword handle sometime but right now with the part that comes with Iguanus I should be able to make a cool wrist blade or something ^^

Wouldn't be surprised if we got purple versions with this years titan!

I'd prioritise demolisher and cyclonus over prime and megs myself, but would be great to get all of em.

When bobby curls one out, he does it in style.

Jesus man, rough time of it. Hope your car repairs aren't too expensive

    typical eh?

hapoy anniversary. Heres to another 10!!

not if someone is haooy to pay 5 each for 3 hard to find deluxes. Still a bargain.

Not yet. Expect it'll be a few days

    Legacy Chronic Case mini review...

The box was never helping sales (and was potentially a warning).

    20230114_115602.jpg

OK, I like the colours and the headsculpt. But that's it. Everything else is a fucking shambles. The plate behind the headsculpt is enormous and doesn't even do it's job later, there's fuck all holding his torso together or upright, and it's basically the same with his legs. The guns are utter shite too. Position one bit of him and something else collapses.

Here's a good indicator of how badly he holds together - I've seriously transformed better B&M efforts.

    20230114_121129.jpg

I'd set out everything that's wrong with the alt and it's transformation but words can only say so much. The rear wheels even fold up just lifting it. Look at the state of the bonnet even. This is a genuine contender for one of the worst bots of 2022 and I only paid £14, I'd have sent it back if I'd paid full price. FFS it looks like somebody s(h)at on it.

Wank Face will remain at the very back of the Decepticon shelf I think.

I'm being thick here, I can't for the life of me work out what TE stands for! :)

Very much felt cheaper. A perfect demonstration of Legacy vs Siege, in my opinion. I got him partly as he's kind-of a Siege figure, but mostly as I wanted the Chromia-gun. My (second-hand) Netflix Chromia came without the silencer-part of her gun, and Red Cog on sale for £16 was much cheaper than buying a new Chromia just for that one part. Sadly the gun that comes with Red Cog is upscaled and looks ridiculous on her, so I needn't have bothered really...

£15 each? Not at all. If I wanted one of those figures individually I'd bite your hand off at £15. Imagine seeing Nemesis Primal for £15 - you wouldn't feel scammed.

I do so wish there was a Decepticon called Wank Face. A Targetmaster, with his partner-in-crime Mingemuncher.

:lol  Also I am really hoping that the speculation/spoiler you posted a few days ago is true. That would make the movie for me!

Haven't opened mine yet but when I do I will report back! :)

I read this and my eyes lit up. Nail on the head, that's why Scourge & Battletrap look so nice with Bayformer baddies! :)

This pleases me greatly as have already shoved Blitzwing, Shatter & Dropkick in with the Movie 'cons.
It may be the way forward for me (and my wallet) too if they make further TF flicks: ignore the Autobots, recruit their adversaries.

So....does this mean we can make the monkey's paw spin in mid-air? ;)  :)  Then it won't be able to mess with the movies and they might actually be good!

(I agreed with the rest of your post, but you alluded to Bayesqueformers and that's all I'm thinking about now! :D )

....oh crap, you just enabled me on Studio Series Battletrap. Dammit! :lol

Yay! Thanks muchly, hope we're posting pictures of our £45 apiece pre-yellowed Micromaster-size G1 cast in the unknown times to come. :)

Weirdly enough, the joints were so much better than my official non-KO first Siege Cog, I thought they might've used new tooling for him!
I would have happily traded out the OS Wheeljack grenade/bomb halves for a straight reuse of the stock Chromia gun plus grenades, if they had at least kept the silencer attachment the same, and stuffed the Combiner Wars style Tri-Shotgun barrel/s (I've yet to find a use for it as my Custom TR Chromia has received the OS version of her gun).

If Wank Face and Mingemuncher aren't amateur detectives somewhere, well, it's all been for nothing.

I got my ready to collect email about an hour ago, figured in hand right now as I walk to the car

I paid for 2-4 days and it took 24 hours for the figures to be in my hands, luck of the draw I guess.

Ah, forgot about that trick. Can you send a note of what actual product you used? I recall almost buying the wrong type that would have just made the toy stink and not actually work anyway.

I use a water-based polyurethane varnish for pegs and ball-joints, I think Vallejo? Few quid for a little bottle, works for me, no additives plastic won’t like, and has the added bonus of being able to protect any paint you might add.

I have a few Cog's one of them didn't need the legs addressed the others did same with the chest fold one of them is so loose he spatchcocks himself at a touch the other hold fine. So maybe it's due to the individual mould used (as they use lots of small identical desk top moulds usually not one huge one like car parts use).

I get why some are scratching their head over Red Cog's weapons they are a bit "odd" in terms of choice, they only really makes sense to those who have seen the show I guess.

I wonder if the Asian Wholesalers are offering anything interesting that the UK retailers have not taken or taken yet, as I can't help but think there may be a warehouse full of Slitherfang somewhere.

I'm still on the fence about the Diaclone Trousers.. if they were just a wee bit cheaper i'd totally buy them but after tax and shipping they are nearly half a grand and it is half a grand once you get the accessories and then I'm still not sure if he's going to be 2 pieces or 3.

& yet I really really like how it looks so far.

He's not out for a few weeks Maybe I can think about it a bit.

It’s not the choice of weapons, it’s the size of them. They’re huge!

Thanks - do you know if the Satin or gloss makes more of a difference? Seems
To be a few options. Ta.

I use the satin, but that’s only because it was cheaper - I’ve read gloss isn’t any “thicker” or more hard-wearing than matte, for instance, although it feels like it would be.

Disappointed to not get a super-cheap CC set but c'est la vie. I'm actually most interested in Ransack, so if anyone is looking to sell as an individual bot please PM me and we can work it out!
