Didn't want Deathy, I only collect Autobots. Now the secret post campaign reveal of Pipo and Boater did get under my skin but I'm not gonna hunt down a Deathsaurus to get them.

 

Fwiw I have a strong feeling we’ll see toy decos of them at some point.

Buy them on the second hand market for less than the haslab backing cost, and feel vindicated? You won't have to have the murderchicken and still paid less than everyone else to get what you wanted.  

 

No, I wouldn't have paid for Deathy if I knew about Pipo and Boater but I could have been looking for someone to go in on a Deathy order with so that I would have ended up with them.

 

If you want the Micro masters you can have mine. I just wanted Deathy and the other stuff.

Just got my Star Saber today. Upon initial inspection, his and Victory Saber's chrome is spotless. Maybe later releases had stricter QC on the chrome? Will check for other QC problems later.

 

For those of you thinking to get some of those “liquid chrome” gold paint markers to fix any issues with the chrome being scratched, etc; I wouldn’t waste time/money on them because they don’t become even slightly “mirror finish”. They look better than red scratches, but as for me, I ordered some gold foil tape that was mentioned earlier which should come tomorrow.

I can’t blame QC for this - he arrived with perfect chrome which got nicked when I tried posing him and from putting him in V-Star jet mode. :/

 

Today I fixed the scratched gold paint on SS's chest with the gold foil tape that came today!

....and then when I was putting him back in Victory Saber mode - the red tip of one of the shoulder cannons broke off. :/ I've superglued it back together, though. :/

Welp. HP customer service wants me to return my whole set just to get a new face for saber. They don’t even know when they can issue a replacement. I’ll just paint the fucker myself and not back another haslab again.

 

ngl , it's the silver face scratching that urk me the most. the scratch is not even in an acceptable shape either.
