    I think the problem there is that the other characters who use the name Sentinel Prime are all iconic in their own right.

    Off the cuff:

    Animated Sentinel Prime is probably the version with the most screen time and is very memorable.
    IDW Sentinel Prime is an easy Astrotrain redeco and is more recent.
    Bayverse Sentinel Prime is probably the most famous and could probably share part of a mold with Hot Spot, Pyro, or even Kingdom Inferno.
    G1 Sunbow Sentinel Prime is a very Floro Dery design that would fit in with recent toys -- and he shares elements with Animated Sentinel Prime, meaning you might get a dual homage by combining them.

    By contrast, Marvel Sentinel Prime is kind of one note -- and there aren't Marvel toys to pair him with.

    It would be pretty cool if ER prime got released in his toy colors (and head) in this line as the second voyager. And I do not care if the Netflix version was already pretty much that.

    I think I’d prefer they retool Siege Optimus into an Earth truck. It wouldn’t be difficult. I hate the hips on the ER design.

    I don’t understand why this would be a highly anticipated release anyway. The SS86 version was— for better or worse, depending on your perspective— very animation-faithful in both design and deco. The images show a weak attempt (those are some sorry tampos) to apply a toy-like palette to what is still a very toon-like sculpt. I’m struggling to understand the audience for this one.

    It’s like lipstick on a pig, or mud on a masterpiece— again, depending on one’s feelings about the SS86 release.
