Yeah, but I think most copies are okay so hopefully your copy is but I still wouldn't take it out of its box to check

 

It was so bad that amiami pulled it of their online shelves 
Much worst than MP Hound  which was never pulled out.

 

It was a whole slew of issues, from memory all of them were:

• Mold degradation on Fire Convoy's ankle connectors, making them crooked in both bot- and vehicle mode.
• The previously mentioned poor molding on the God Fire Convoy head, so it's loose and wobbles.
• The sound clips for the Magna Vulcan and Magna Laser are swapped.
  
• A lot of copies have two of the same hip joints, so you can't get him to stand evenly.
• There was a design error on the box showing the Super God Sword instead of something else.

Interestingly, the box and electronics errors were what TakaraTomy mentioned when they issued the recall. Nothing about the other issues.
HLJ gave me the option to send it back for a full refund, no questions asked. Or I could keep it and receive 6k yen in store credit. Needless to say, I chose the store credit and was happy to deal with the issues.

 

Dang, I gotta start buying from HLJ more often, that's pretty cool of them! Kinda glad I never opened mine now, maybe someday I'll pop it open to give the Super God Sword to my American Omega Prime instead...

(borrowed link from main thread) So seems like Hasbro is doing second run with fixing QC copies, this might be a good chance to make sure our Zavvi problem will be fixed. Right now I recommend sending emails to Hasbro Pulse EU customer support and Zavvi support about whole cancelled orders.

 

I am very skeptical about the phrasing of that tweet. I doubt a single customer service individual would somehow have more detailed knowledge of how these replacements are being made available than all of their other colleagues and they certainly can’t promise that this “second run” will have “much, much better” QC.

Someone has misunderstood something in this chain of communication.

 

Still if this is a chance to get VS at a decent price, it's worth a shot. This whole situation is weird just like haslab idea.

 

Yeah, that's almost certainly not happening.

 

If they can make enough for the former Zavvi customers as well as the people who lost out due to the water damaged copies, they could at least generate SOME kind of revenue from this 2nd run.

 

And knowing is half the battle. Legends Arcee was my first pre-order from HobbyLinkJapan, placed on day one. They still cancelled my order anyway due to insufficient stock and I've refused to buy from them again. Zavvi is just another scummy seller like HLJ to avoid.

I haven't seen TF Robots not be honest. To me always reliable. So this is good news. And at least a response that means something. Unlike what Zavvi did.

 

I‘ve contacted the EU Hasbro Pulse support to ask if they could open orders for Victory Saber for the Zavvi customers they got their orders cancelled and Taiwan collectors that lost their order due do water damage. If there is a second run that is.

They said they can’t answer that but forwarded my message to corresponding department at Hasbro.

So if you one of the Victory Saber "backers" that Zavvi let down, you might want to contact Pulse to let them know that you are still interested in the toy.

I don’t think anything will come from that but it is better than do nothing.

 

Never hurts to tell a Manufacturer that they have BUYERS waiting to pay money for what they SELL ^^ The more the merrier too!

So for anyone who didnt get a Chance to buy a Victory Saber :
I ordered Mine from Robotkingdom and im willing to sell Mine for the cost i payed (283,31€ +about 50-60€ customs Fee /tax when it arrives +shipping to your Destination +PayPal Trades and goods Fee If you Chose buyers protection (best Germany or EU )

So i guess around 350-370€ shipped(way less than Aftermarket Here in Europe/Germany or If you Order it from the USA)

Payment would be PayPal Family and Friends or with buyers protection (Fee pays buyer) and as soon as my Saber arrives (still on the way to me with DHL ) i'll forward it to you with tracked shipping+insurance still MISB in the Mailer.

If my copie gets lost in Transit /is damaged (im Not meaning QC ,i mean damaged in Transit ) you will get a full refund ,and i will get a refund from Robotkingdom/DHL.

Would be pretty Happy to make it possible to sell for a good reasonable price to someone who was cancelled by Zavvi as example. (Just make Up for the Same Money i payed)

For those that don't mind import and delivery fees, I also see a bunch of them on Yahoo Auctions Japan going for €250-€320.

 

Which would be way more with those Fees ,customs and shipping,Just to mention
At that pricepoint you are approx at 400-500€ with shipping Fee and customs i guess

I offer at at absolutely at the RK price of 199,90$ + the customs and shipping Fee
