Oh, this is a nice behind the scenes. It's nice to actually see the behind the scenes, and not just another curtain that they store back there.

That other concept is really cool and I hope we get him as a retool of scraphook later on but I'm also really impressed just how close to his own concept scraphook actually is.

Considering he has a hook on one arm, I have a feeling I know how Scraphook lost an eye.  :D
While I love the final design, the burlier black version looks cool too. Nice to see how a toy gets created!

Aside from the eyepatch, and the placement of Scraphook's accessories on each arm, where are the asymmetrical parts I'm being invited to notice?

I don't mean to dunk on Scraphook, I'm already committed to two copies of him so I can mix and match parts, but he's really very symmetrical in both modes.
Even the random, patched-up bits of damage on his vehicle mode are symmetrical.

Always fun to see behind the scenes. I would love to see another Junkion tow truck similar to the rough sketch. A wrecking ball instead of a hook? Sign me up! Can't wait to get Scraphook in hand, if he ever catches up with the rest of the wave lol. Really looking forward to seeing the rest of these guys, I'm really loving this concept!

Also, you know what I really hate? That gray guy's alt mode would've been perfect for Prime Universe Bulkhead. Hell, the whole bot would've worked.

But no. Instead we got... Whatever the hell this is: 1647722485-LegacyBulkhead01.jpg
Yes, I'm still mildly annoyed about this.

Interesting to see how Scraphook was originally supposed to have the car front on his shoulders and how the final figure still has faux bumper spikes there.

I thought the figure was already cool but like... That art is far better. Makes me wish the Weaponizer was Voyager scale now... Probably have more of the sketcher's features.

Also... Black repaint when? Sure it's not traditional Junkion colors but it looks sick.

It can still be a thing. Honestly one huge plus with these Weaponizers is they can change a change a handful of parts and bam, new figure.

In fact they'd be remiss if they didn't just do that... Pulse exclusive three pack of Scraphook and/or the Cycle retooled with three/four sets of parts. Or two sets with two batches of parts each. Mix and match and make your own Junkions.

I'd be happy with new paintjobs / new heads. Using the front of the motorcycle on the front of the truck looks fun, but I can't justify buying 2 copies of the bike just for the few times I'd actually make that combo. Repaint/ retool, yes. Straight up buy the same thing twice? Nope

Am I going to be the first person to mention his gun looks like a Gears of War Lancer? We could have gotten a gun with a chainsaw on it? That is so on brand for a junkion. Oh Mark you are tugging on my heart strings!

This is normal. Concept art doesn't have to rely on budget, molding, materials, parts count, paint adherence, size constraints, marketability, or any of the laws of physics at all.
