That'd be TransFormMission Havoc. They're one of Warbotron's other names along with GenerationToy (Guardian/Defensor). The regular color is harder to come by, but a metallic version was released recently.

 

1.) Mine is the "reissue" that was at BBTS and the like, last year, so I don't have the same experience as those who've owned it from the beginning, but it's still sturdy on my end.

2.) Generally, they're fine. A little wobbly in spots, some soft plastic here and there. (Nothing that outright feels like it's going to break. No point in not being careful, though.)

3.) I can try and get you some later today. Just know that they're between Voyager (tall) and Leader (WFC-ish, akin to CW Voyagers.) Onslaught is old-skool Leader Class from T30/CW onward through the end of Prime Wars. He's not quite as tall as Skyfire, but he's no shrimp. either.

4.) I absolutely can recommend them...for $170, shipped, or less. Anything beyond that and you're going to feel the burn a tad.

As well is there anywhere I can get new ratchets for the ankles?
I happen to get a good trade but the ankles(clear tabs) were destroyed

 

Mech Fans Toys. Rockne, IIRC. (The names can be stupid sometimes.) As for the ratchets? Not that I can think of, not really.

Warbotron is pretty much defunct at this point, so replacements are basically nil.

 

I think shapeways has some time ago but don't know if there is still.

They sent customers spares for the original figure but good luck persuading anyone to sell you theirs! Why don't you just make them?

I mean from solid bits of plastic using a file, dremmel etc..that way you can choose a better type of plastic than manufacturers' chose, also printed plastic is quite fragile usually so for such an important part that needs to be tough rather than hard.

 

I'm thinking of buying the boxset from Robotoybase, but are there any specific qc issues that I need to look out for? Like not having the missile pods, or which version of Airburst's chest I'm getting? Also, which version is best for each individual figure?

Finally, and I'm aware this isn't the exact thread for this, but how flexible is robotoybase on pricing? I read that it was just one guy, and I'm planning to buy a large shipment of figures off of him but I figured I'd try to lower the price if I can. Thanks in advance folks!

Yep! The old CHUG stylization really appeals to me. The only other Bruticus I'd be interested in would be MMC's, but I'm afraid it'll send me down a rabbit hole of buying MMC combiners that are in an aesthetic I personally do not care for at all. And those suckers ain't cheap lol
