I balked on this when it was a Pulse exclusive. Now its MSRP is cheaper than it was a couple years ago?! I can't believe it.

First transformer acquired in 2023 is… MPM Blackout! My Target still had the $83 tag, but actually rang up for $49.79 as some people pointed out in other threads. I had a $25 gift card from Christmas so I only paid $28.52 out of pocket for it!

Ok so against my better judgement I ended up buying these two!

Long story short, I posted my Fasttrack purchased here last week and I mention while I was planning buy the rest of the Weaponizer, I was going to skipped Cog. Got one or two replies to persude me to buy him.

The UK Toy site Indemand Toys has ALOT of sales at the moment (if you're from the UK, check it out) one of which was Red Cog for £16.99. Since I gave myself the title "seeker of the cheaper prices", I figure I buy him instead of Cog! Have you seen Cog on Ebay? He goes for over £30 at the moment!

While checking the other figures on sales, I saw Tricranius for £17.99. I figure she comes with blast effect and Red Cog with the guns and barrel, those two goes well hand in hand! Also became abit interested in Fozilliser too!

    As for the figures-

Ok I gonna try to be less critical about him cos he is technically the "first" weaponizer as in the other weaponizers are an improvement over him! Also he is the only one that is technically two characters per say.
I definitely agreed with some reviews that there should be a tab to hold the buggy part in place and the tab to hold the two parts together should of been stronger. Granted it doesn't fix loosely but it does seperate easily! Also wish there was a cockpick/ front easy in the buggy area too so it does look like a vehicle of sort!
The parts themselves are definitely limited unlike the other weaponizers like the legs doesn't fold inwards like the others. Also an annoying thing is that his right leg keep coming off (loose?). I know it's all about part forming but the other limbs are still strong enough to stayed connected!

Ok truth to be told, I didn't liked this mold or rather I didn't like Ractonite. Dunno why but I guess Ractonite was under one chalk white colour scheme was off putting to me like he could of have two colours tone like Paleotrex. Tricranius on the other hand was refreshing.
As for the figure itself, she isn't as bad as thought she will be. Again like Red Cog, her parts were limiting too. Like I wished there was tab on her or behind the ribcage area so I can tab one of her limb onto it and it become a giant hammer!
Also I liked how her art in the inside of the box was misleading! Like she suppose to have extra tabs on her robot hands and tail and have actual robot hands but nope!

Overall it sounds like I'm complaining alot about them but I knew beforehand what they were like from the many reviews I had watched. I got them cheaply so I can't complained too much! Would of been more annoyed had I paid full prices on the two!
Also for the weapons and blast effect parts, I bought a zip bag to store those in to keep them safe! Hindsight I should of done that sooner with my Kre-O figures!

    Obligatory combine mode shot here.
Ignore the mess in the background this is merely a couple quick photos thrown together at the last minute
