New set is good and the audio mixing seems better now as well. Too many camera cuts creeping in now though, more NJPW and less WWE in that regard please.

Bryan vs MJF Iron Man, only 5 days in and it already feels like we are feasting this year. Bryan and Takeshita should be cool next week as well.

seriously that is super shit if it happens. sleazeball trying to cash out before his empire is taken away from him. hopefully the board shuts him down. that would be pretty damn interesting if they stop him, he will spend the rest of his life and savings in court battles to try to retake it.

 

We used to say that WWE had turned into WCW circa 99-00 and now its turning into TNA circa 2016.  

 

It's not like HHH made the product must see. Still plenty of crap on TV every week. Maybe HHH should start his own promotion. WWE can die, and HHH can battle Tony Khan in the ratings with all the talent Vince fires again.

He's in that "If I cant have it, no one will" and "how dare you" (to Steph, HHH, and etc, rehiring all these people I fired) feels.

Even if there wasnt a AEW, and all the things that happened (to him), I'm positive he would of done the same, come back and try to sell.


...and another reason imo is I think he's butthurt. I think he thought it would get worse when he left. Seeing its doing better hurt his ego.

 

yeah that's exactly how I'm hearing it also.

from the news I'm hearing this morning, it sounds like he is holding the company ransom. since he holds this majority shareholder he won't sign off on a new tv deal unless he's back in charge.
hopefully his former board and lawyers are creative enough to figure something out but it does not sound positive for anyone in wwe.

crazy that they had such momentum a couple months ago with the change over and now this.

So who's losing their job first now that Vince is back?

 

Hopefully somebody will take TK's phone away when the WWE budget cuts start back up.

 

Wow. I know that Vince grew his company into the billion-dollar juggernaut it is today, but forceably taking it back is just a bad business decision all around. All the allegations are still hanging over him, while things are running smoother and morale is up with him gone.

If he does end up selling the whole company like I’ve read might happen, I hope the new owners leave the current creative team in charge. Sure, HHH & Co are not perfect, but they’re better than WWE had under Vinny and they need an opportunity to continue improving. Worst-case would be a clueless new owner pulling a Jim Herd and forcing really stupid ideas onto TV (The New Day repackaged as the New Ding Dongs? Roman Reigns is now a literal Roman gladiator? Wait, the Bloodline has the word blood in it, let’s make them all vampires!)

 

What I’m hearing from friends who mod in Johnny Gargano’s Discord server (one of them ACTUALLY being a WWE shareholder), is that Vince is only on the board. He does NOT have any say in creative and that Triple H/Stephanie are still in full charge of it so thankfully the product will remain intact

 

I hope that stays true but Vince's ego worries me.

*Vince looks over HHH’s list of rehires*
Vince: “Who the hell is Johnny Gargo??”
Lackey: “Gargano, sir. Former NXT champion.”
Vince: “Never heard of him. And he’s so SHORT!”
Lackey: “Sir, he’s a great wrestler and the fans like him.”
Vince: “But he’s SHORT! Get rid of him. And his wife, Candace whatever. She’s no Candace Michelle…now there was a woman worth looking at.”
Lackey: “Yes, sir.”
Vince: “Now, I need suggestions on how we can feature Omos on TV as much as possible. I want Reigns vs Omos main eventing Wrestlemania. That’s good shit!”

 

Believe me I know but there’s still many factors that are in play to make sure it stays (mostly) how it’s been since Triple H took over

 

If you check above where I copy/pasted what was replied to me in Johnny’s Discord he couldn’t do that if he even tried.

Vince may be back on the board but he has NO authority as to whether he can hire/fire anyone, THAT’S still with HHH/Stephanie

 

I know, I was just joking around about if Vince does somehow take over creative again.
