These look way better in design, but honestly, im not mad about the face, just the expression they gave him. It looks so derpy, and my boi wheeljack is not derpy, he's a cunning, intelligent, sometimes crazy inventor who is not afraid to take his tech into battle without testing it!

I hate the head but I just don’t have the energy to constantly go on about how the head is terrible. The boxiness of glasses don’t help the expression/face.

Even if they changed him to be more of a mechanic than mad scientist it doesn’t work.

 

it has become self-sustaining hate. the same people are making the same points over and over

That aside, would you be willing to pop his head off and try to stick SS-BB Wheeljack's head on?

 

TR Ramhorn's head would probably look good on Wheeljack's body

Aren't the black "suspenders" supposed to go inside the chest and not actually be suspenders at all?

 

It's the glue gun he used to keep his googles from sliding off his face.  

 

So basically the evolution of having tape on your glasses to fix them, just literally glue them to his nose.

Bad head aside, this really looks like an INSANELY fun toy. The transformation is so neat and the alt mode is so clean. These Deluxes are hitting it out of the park.

 

And if not can the Earthrise Wheeljack head fit on the figure?

 

The toy looks decent on it's own merits, but there's just no fixing that head. I think this one's a skip for me unless a replacement head comes out.

I'm thinking that too, even past the head, nothing about this says "Wheeljack" to me. Might as well just use SS81 to represent the character and let the brown van be his own guy.

Really liking the correct robot mode and the gun. The removable glasses could make for interesting posing (losing them on the floor like velma  )

 

No worries makes sense. Hopefully though either of the WJ heads can fit on the body.

 

I love the van mode for WJ and while different actually like the color choice just that head hurts it all.

If it’s possible I’m probably goona buying it (or the SS toy) and putting a WJ head. As photoshops shown below.
