How did you get him so quick? Mine is barely going to be shipped overseas, should be in the USA by tomorrow. I got mine from ShowZ.

He has much tighter joints than Optimus. Not that Optimus was super loose or anything. Everything on Nemesis is a little tighter, even the chest windows were stiff when I opened them.

If so would there be any interest in having some cell shaded / cartoon themed replacements option?

Took awhile to get him into alt mode because every single joint is so stiff.

Mine has this weird black blob on it, not sure how I'd go about removing it.
It kinda looks like a bullet hole so it doesn't bother me that much, he's going to be in robot mode most of the time.

 

Opening this thread and seeing this image pop up my mind immediately went into seeing this as that G1 cartoon cliffhanger bit before going to commercial (complete with commercial bumper and theme).

 

Some should do a reference of Orion Zaxs on how Nemesis Prime is trying to Willem Defoe Optmius Prime.

I'm waiting for the inevitable accessory pack (the telltale panels on the side that can be removed easily), but man I'm tempted to get him and sell off my TE-01.

 

I'm too lazy to transform him back to robot mode right now.

His eyes are too spaced out. If they were closer together, it would look a lot better.

 

Is there a way to add a pair of cell shaded chest windows for this figure?

 

I am still waiting for a replacement smoke stack. Its been 2 months.  

 

Nemi arrived today, and I'm really satisfied with this purchase. No broken smokestacks, but the tab on the right hand side of his rifle is almost sheared off straight out of the box. The left hand side tab is almost too thick. However, the joints in his fingers are tight enough that he grips the gun with no problem. The joints are tight on this guy. His hip joints are scary tight. The smokestacks and his ankles are probably the loosest joints I've found so far. The Matrix chamber is a little flimsy too. He's not heavy, but if you've been reading along in this thread you already knew that. The feel of the plastic doesn't bother me, and I really haven't put any thought into it other than to admire the overall appearance. I've only messed around with posing a little bit, but it's retaining the fun of the legends class figures with more detail. I don't typically transform my figures, so I haven't attempted an alt mode. I feel like this guy was worth what I paid. I ordered direct from Magic Square on the 21st and it's in possession just a hair over 2 weeks later. I will probably have to cave and get the regular MS-02 from ShowZ when it drops. TE-01 has the heft, and the premium finish/feel, but the posability of MS-02 just can't be matched, and especially if the next joints of the next batch is on par with 02B.

My only question is, silver outline, no silver outline on the Decepticon symbol?

 

If you want something that could be considered show accurate (in some timelime where he would have shown up) than no line but for others than you can go with it.

I'll be going no outline myself when he arrives.

 

Personally, I'd go silver. The purple of the deception symbol isn't super dark so it should be plenty visible against the black without an outline but I just think silver would look nicer, especially with how much silver is on the figure. Though, if you want it to look like he's a character on the cartoon, like @Ravewind says, no outline would be the way to go.

I'm not letting myself buy nemesis since I already have TE's and he's not an important enough character that I feel the need to catch 'em all or to upgrade but damn, you guys are making it tempting.

 

I opted for a middle of the road. I had some metallic dry rubs and went that way. A little Lightroom/Photoshop work here, but I like it.
