Man, I adore the clean lines on this. Beautiful. Tapered central thighs look a little bit odd but nothing to ruin the overall look.

You were complaining, because a few said they'd prefer a little more visual pop. A little more detail on an expensive collector's item that looks fairly barren next to most other MPs. Why that's got a select few people in this thread so damn hostile is beyond me.

Looks like a huge improvement over Ditka, and it's got the plane mode I like best. But I'm going to be that guy and say it looks too smooth, too toon.

And for those unwilling or unable to process that, I'd say I'd like my figures to look a little less like bad animation and a little more like the real robot the animation could have been based on.

And, to be totally fair, I'm definitely not suggesting that Transformers should have that much detail. I just want it to look like a real thing, not a 3D animation cell.

I wasn't complaining. I've never thought this figure looked bad and I've wanted it since the announcement. The anti-detail rhetoric just rubs me the wrong way, and not being anti-detail evidently sets a few people off.

 

I hope they change the blade of the sword to How Ditka's or DX9s, purple and transparentish. I think it looks a little too... plain or matte? Something like that. If not I guess I could give him DX9s sword to him. Still stoked for him. But a little more detail would be nice.

 

Honestly, I'm super excited by these new pics! Can't wait to get him in hand!
