Thankfully, my ferocious has landed in the states. just waiting to see when it will get here. Showz doesnt even have price yet for landbull, so I'm guessing it may be a while yet. If anyone gets wind of when that one is arriving from any of the other sites, please post if you don't mind. He is showing as a preorder on pretty much all of them right now.

 

The budget will be tight this year and that didn't make the cut. Plus I have zero attachment to Volcanicus so it's not a hard choice to make.

 

I’m the same. But the Cang “Dinobots” appear so far removed from the designs of the Hasbro Dinobots that they may just as well be different characters from a different toyline entirely. If I get the Cang Volcanicus, it’ll be purely because I like the design of it, as a set of transforming / combining robot action figures on their own merits, rather than due to any vague resemblance to the Dinobots.

Hard to believe I got an invoice for this from ShowZ before TCP invoiced me for XTB Ultra Magnus. They had a helluva time getting that in their shop.

Y'know I still look in awe at the packaging and presentation of Cang's figures - both MP and the mini versions. The overall appearance and package art looks classy, elegant and enticing. The presentation of the figure in black foam once you open the top lid is like opening a jewellery box (don't think many/any companies still do foam as the padding protection/padding??).

The final drawcard is that Cang ship these figures in their own cardboard packing boxes as an added layer of protection to their figures.

 

The boxes I have don't, with the exception maybe GT. CT is doing a stellar job with the packaging.

 

Yes they are. Its reassuring when the Cang package arrives safely on the doorstep in its outer shipping carton. Gotta wonder what they'll do for the din-combiner - they sure have a tough act to follow.

 

Well, since the MP Preds are out the way, maybe CT can shift their focus on the Dinos. But at the same time, they still have the rest of the minis to conquer as well. With the way Landmini is looking, we should be expecting him no later than the first part of the year. But that's my guess. Makes you wonder which of the remaining 4 members will follow in line after Landmini is released..

 

Looks like the final nail for this set has been put in the coffin..
