Question about the Stormbringer version, do those new flat guns with the green paint inside have handles or can they not be hand held? also where do the matrix handles store now?

 

No clue where the matrix handles go now, but the flat guns can be mounted to the larger cannons. (You can't have them hand held by themselves.)

 

I would have pulled the trigger on Stormbringer if I didn't already own Optus Nox, he looks like am absolute beast with all of those weapons! Hopefully they release recolours of them for Nox

 

Nah probably not, I think TD has the better relationship with MMC in NA. Regardless even if TCP got it, MMC would put it up on PSX so we would all get the chance to purchase.

I hate Toxitron, but on this mold and how you colored it, it would be an instabuy if they made it exactly like your colors.

Welp, I was wrong.

PSX and MMC responded tonight and sent me a picture to clarify that my guns are in fact correct and I just didn't have the barrels collapsed far enough which, I swear I checked twice, but I guess I still just missed somehow.



After folding the parts I missed that the barrel can collapse back down into the barrel piece such that the now 90 degree joint sits flush with the back of the barrel piece and that enables all the tabs to line up with corresponding slots or and/or with the slight tab indent in the silver part of the barrel which gives it just enough clearance to all hold together. Big shoutout to PSX for being on top of helping me even though this time they didn't need to do anything as it was my fault. PSX has always had exceptional customer service.

 

Well, at least they got you taken care of anyways. Even if being taken care of didn't mean you get an extra rifle to play with. I'd have never considered from what you said that it was just a matter of pushing that joint back in.

 

They're meant to be thought of as belt buckles.  

I hope if anyone out there has their genitals growing out of their lower abdomen, they see a doctor about that hahah.

 

I always assumed the blue strip would be where his junk would be. Not the lower abadamon.

 

Anyone know where the Matrix handles are supposed to go since the usual area was remolded?

Just gorgeous. Some quick pics I took in work. Cos he was absolutely coming with me tonight.






My only gripe is that I wish they had kept the forearms the same unpainted off white/grey like those painted accents on the body, which we saw the figure sporting all the way until release. I really did love that. It's no biggie, but can't say I'm not a touch disappointed.

Oh.. and he makes me want a Thunderwing long out of print.

 

To be clear, I don't mean any disparagement, and they're both beautifully decoed figures. It's just a dumb, silly joke about painted urethras. I do apologize that it's at least partially at your expense, since we're just strangers on the internet. Hopefully you took it in the lighthearted manner that I intended.

If we don't get the blue and black diaclone homage version of this figure I will riot.

 

I think White, Armor less Ultra Magnus, Diaclone Blue, Black, and Yellow, and Toxitron feel like the most obvious ones to come without further remolding.

With some remolding, tho, Scourge, Delta Magnus, Laser Prime, and Hero Prime could also be possibilities.

And, one final funny idea that comes to mind would be a Fire Guts Optus.

I don't know how much tougher nails are in Hong Kong, but I couldn't even be bothered to answer that and took the matter in my own hands. the figure is now fixed, though I may have cut a bit too short since the pin doesn't fill the entire space anymore, but it touches all of the needed surfaces, so that's okay. Here's another picture now that I've fixed it.
