I can't help but be more bemused than anything else. Clicking on the link provided brings to to a whole bunch of slated announcements, and yet... that's it? That's a lot of trouble to go to to just announce a single toy.

It'd be like if we held a school assembly, and all that happened is the principal going, "Hello. I hope you're all doing well." and then dismissing everyone.

The one chance to get an original Fangry mold is probably with that, and you don't include him on the list...

 

I'm actually curious about how close Buzzworthy Fangry is to the original. And how different he is from... was it Grotusque?

 

He's a bit different from his original toy, but I'd say its close enough. They actually remolded him quite a bit from Grotesque. I can see Hasbro deciding to turn Repugnus into Squeezeplay tho no matter what Horribull needs to be a new mold. Tho personally I'd say they should both be new molds as there was some major mold degradation going on with Fangry iirc.

Yeah, definitely "close enough".

But I can totally imagine mold degradation kicking in. Remolding DoubleCross into Regpugnus and Grotusque, and then even further into Fangry...

I actually was expecting Repugnus to be remolded into Squeezeplay/Cancer at some point, but there was nothing that would come close to Bullhorn. Maybe Weirdwolf? He was the only quadruped, I think?

Is anyone actually giving JT a hard time?

Occasional underwhelming reveals are the nature of the beast in this fandom. I honestly didn’t expect much of anything given the scope of this one, not being a Pulse or Brand Team stream or anything.

 

Do you guys think we will get an online Fan Reveal event in February since Toy Fair is all the way in Sept/Oct this year?
