When you transform him to bot mode watch out for 2 pins in his chest. I'm not sure if I lost one or maybe it wasn't there at all. Can you let us know if your copy has both of them?
Other than that this thing is just amazing.

Got my 2nd batch one today.

Got it to bot mode, pretty sure it will never see car mode again, my god the way those arms are assymetrically twisted to fit into alt mode, not sure I want to even try.

Copter mode, maybe someday.

It seems like it is a pretty common issue... Hopefully the second batch has a better QC / assembly process

 

Been playing with this fella the entire Christmas. Fantastic figure, a little compromised and frustrating to pose (head and legs articulation in the robot mode) but overall very impressive. The copter mode sucks ass tho, I didn't manage to tab it completely cause I was worried that would damage the paint but I don't think it'd make any difference   Funny that if not for those couple parts on the forearms forming the "cockpit" or the tail rotor from his butt it'd be 100% a fan mode.
The figure put me in the "Bayverse mood" so I also transformed a few other figures for comparisons

Today i finally got around to installing the waterslides i got on AliExpress.
Put them all on, and had a few that didn't really have a designated place so i put those on his side hip panels.
Spent way more time than i thought, but mostly because it were a lot of decals, and it was my first time doing these.

Looking good if i say so myself  

 

He showed up today, that Transformation was a nightmare honestly.

 

So something else fell off my shelf, and knocked the 3D printed sword out of his hands and it broke into 4 pieces. Shit material, and now I have no longer blades for heli mode! I'm gonna try and glue the blades at least back together, but I'm not even gonna bother with the sword hilt, which also broke. FML.

 

Drift doesn't want 3D printed sword, how do you fight Decepticons with that?

How do I make the thigh armour move? I saw in a video they're spring loaded but mine won't budge

 

They tab into place for alt mode. Pull them outwards and they should disengage and be able to slide down.

 

Just get the reissue. So far alt mode is good.
Painted the engine silver, inside rims metallic blue and add some water decal

 

Looks real clean!

 

The engine does look good silver. I should have done it when I was considering it a while back. Nice work.
