You forgot that cut scene where Minmei stole the 1D and armor to bring "culture" to the universe. Edit: No technically it doesn't fit, but I got it to stay for the photo.
For some reason, I could not see the photo no matter which browser I used But when I checked my e-mail notifications, I could see it But yeah, I never saw the cut scene...
I think it is because the cockpit is a 2 seater making the front a bit longer. Aw, sorry! Wonder why it didn't work in the thread.
Macross Channel showroom episode featuring an out of box build of Wave’s new 1/72 VF-171EX Nightmare Plus Alto fighter mode kit:
Take it or leave it as some say its just another YF-29.. That’s not the correct answer if you have not seen Delta Zetta Live. Local pick up at my hobby store if your curious.
Nah waterslides would be nice. Just regular decals. It’s a pretty good figure nothing terribly impressive. But it hits the nostalgia super hard when putting on the stickers and looking at what you are working on. It’s a competent release.
Sooooo, if one were contemplating taking the plunge into DX which would be a better entry point between the 1J/GBP or the 1D?
I feel like the 1J/GBP is a bit easier to come by these days, though there's a late tax associated with either. I don't think there's anything of note quality wise that's different between the two. I'd say whichever you like better and fits your budget is the one to pick.
1J/GBP. You get the hero valk and an armor set it wore onscreen. Plus it may be cheaper to get on the aftermarket than the 1D.
The 1J w/GBP is the better bang for the Buck IMO. I believe the 1J bundle is still readily available (just barely) while the 1D is becoming more and more scarce. If you haven't yet I highly advise you to go to Mandarake and search those items and set an alert reminder for either these Valks once a shop gets it instock. That how I got my Dx VF-1D few months ago for a fair price ($245 iirc). But you do have to act fast. Also what I find very interesting is the Dx GBP armor can be bought for dirt cheap! I mean yeah it's pricey for what it is but when you compare it to the Dx DYRL SSP and Missiles accessories it's crazy! If only the DYRL SSP and Missiles sets were readily available for that GBP price, life would be so much better lol.
