I recommend using a skip on the Combiner Beacon. This way, you have the upgrade to the Combiner immediately instead of waiting 2 weeks.

Combiner beacon isn’t part of this update.

Do HQ, do scanner (if you’re high level), do storages. Keep one build bot free for walls.

 

Yep, alloy storages have to be done for walls.

As I am still working on my HQ 17 lvl upgrades, I had to do the Combiner Beacon so I used a skip on it so I wouldn't lose Combiner defense capability for my base. That's where I got my idea from.

 

I jumped the gun on my disappointment. I actually have several bots that can get ranked up (mostly thanks to cracking all my hoarded crystals). Right now I've just done two: 5* Rhinox and 5* Snarl. I think it's time to promote Rhinox to my war team, replacing Optimus Primal.

 

I ranked up 5 bots to Corporal. I don't know if I will ever have a bot make it to the next rank though. 15k seem like it will take forever, especially for those of us not willing chase/spend chasing character shards specifically to rank up characters.

 

15k is insane. My guess is the Apes end up lowering it eventually. It’s smarter to have it be too high to start and lower vs coming in low and having to raise the price.

 

Saw it mentioned (and I confirmed) that ranking up any star level of a bot ranks them ALL up. I ranked up my 5* Rhinox to Corporal, and they are all now Corporals.

 

The next batch of 5*s will be: Twin Twist, Ironhide, Hound, Blurr, and Slingshot.

 

Someone in my alliance mentioned that it's just for the whales, basically.
