I imagine that such would have to come from another publisher. I suspect the ongoing titles were cancelled earlier this year (rather than right now) in order to give time for the last trade collecting them to come out.

The IDW Era is over—finished! I wished for this day for years and now that it's here...I honestly don't know what to make of it. It wasn't all bad, but I'm long past ready for a shakeup (which is ironic because the latter half of IDW was nothing but shakeups).

    The end of a era.

Sad to see it go since while it had its problems, I loved IDW 1.0. But also on the opposite side, I am looking forward to seeing what the new publisher has to offer.

    Hear, hear.

This, alongside the movieverse and Animated was what got me into TFs after sleeping on The Unicron Trilogy.

Here's hoping we hear something new about Transformers comics in the future. I know a writer/artist associated with Skybound Entertainment has been posting a lot of TF stuff on his Instagram, but a formal press release regarding the direction they want to go with Transformers would be grand.

As Simon Furman loves to put it:

    "IT NEVER ENDS!"

(Actually real talk: how do you guys feel about Furmanisms, anyway? Like, you guys consider them lovably schlocky B-movie-styled quips or something?)

I see what you did there. ;)

It’s a shame, but I figured it might happen. Hopefully the next publisher collects Shattered Glass II and the remainder of the IDW Collection hardbacks. (It’d also be nice to have another Generation 2 TPB if they get that far into the reprints and a re-release of the Marvel G.I. Joe comics if they get the license.)

And maybe re-release and colorize the Marvel UK stuff.

Ooh, that too. It still stings a bit that Classics UK never got finished, which means that the only reprint source for many of the black-and-white stories are shrunken-down copies made by Titan in an attempt to have “manga-sized” volumes (their words).

So this is the last transformers comic, possibly ever?

It’s the last TF comic of the IDW era. The 2019 G1 series is done and, if memory serves me right, the final issue of Shattered Glass II is the final TF comic until the next publisher picks it up.

Nah, there is another publisher Hasbro decided to go with we just don't know who it is.

Most comic companies begin announcing their monthly solicits around this time of the month, so if they want to have a TF comic in March we'll hear in a few days-to-a-week or so.

Do we have a set date on when the comics are getting delisted from digital stores like Comixology? I’m trying to grab everything before that happens.

I would definitely welcome a new G2 release. When I did the G2 podcast, I could only refer folks to nearly 20-year-old collections.

Just read the last issue today and I have ta say I quite enjoyed it as final issues go it was pretty good especially as the last IDW issue ever. Would\'ve liked to have seen that unreleased Collision Course series but frankly at the end of the day I\'m more than satisfied with what we\'ve got it\'s been a great run and I can\'t wait to see what comes next... Till all are one (couldn\'t resist it\'s a great quote)

Is this actually the last solicitation or are people just reflecting in general? D:

It's the last IDW Solicitation for anything Transformers-related.
