He 'tricked' me into thinking MS-02 was the best OP ever cos he didn't mention anything about the material at all.

I shall not fall for the same thing twice!

Well, let's see what I think of MS Skyfire when I get it. :p

I'm one of the few who loves MS-02 but agreed that he's overly effusive about MS, which is all he reviews now. I only watch now just to see the figure in hand.

To his credit, even though he's on their dime, he does point out negatives like the flash/sprue marks and paint mismatch.

I just take it that he is presenting the best view of MS.

He didn't mention anything about mismatched white, though. At least this time I don't have to worry about the material, since it's nylon and I don't have a problem with it.

Decided to order although I wasn't planning to (mainly because I'm catching up with older releases), seemed like a decent price for its design and size. Got Huffer with him. 90$ total from Bombubee, not bad.

I recommend reading some of the comments. I actually asked him how heavy OP was, and he said it is very light, lighter then some other figures.

I also asked him about the jetfire faceplated head, and he said it is hard to switch out the heads and he hopes if there is a repaint that includes him, they change the design to make it easier.

not sure if it's just the lighting, but these photos seem to show quite a bit of variance in the white plastic. the most obvious being the left chest being much whiter than the right. o_O

I hope it is just the lighting. Not just the chest but everywhere the white has that sort of "dingy" tint to it. It's really apparent next to NA too.

Ok Magic Square, now that NA is releasing their Toy version, time to show your next repaint, so you can get back at NA for releasing their Friends version right after your release (instead of next year).

    ;)

    Wel..
I paid more at MS for a faster send, in the end the other sellers ship while mine that MS yet pre-ordered has not yet a tracking number..

I'm supporting MS by ordering directly at their website, but the last couple of orders have been really slow, unfortunately. Partly due to customs and Covid I'm guessing.
Thanks to a bunch of saved up ShowZ points I've been able to score Skyfire for 8 bucks and I've always liked the Yun Express shipping, so it was a no brainer choice this time :)

I am finding that MS shipping is slower than other retailers. Not due to their lack of getting it out their door, but whatever system of shippers they use routes the package on a tour through the states, even passing by my front window to wave and say hi before landing on my doorstep. What could be a week to get here ends up being between 2.5 and 3.5 as a result. I no longer look at tracking when ordering from MS as a result. I like using MS, though, because I feel like their inventory is guaranteed, but I think I prefer ShowZ overall. Several of my MS packages have come with damaged/crushed boxes and I this is a rarity with ShowZ. ShowZ also beats MS by about .50c - $1 on flat price to the consumer.

Mine arrived today from magic square.
I dig him. Nice heft and hand feel.
My only real complaint is my waist is a little loose. It causes him to lean backwards a little from the weight of the backpack at the waist break. I’ll have to tighten up the joints that collapse to form his waist, but otherwise thumbs up from me.

he has the feeling of a more refined version of Siege jetfire…so, if you didn’t like that one you’ll probably not like this guy very much.

EDIT: waist is an easy fix. It’s just a screw that required some tightening

For anyone who has this and the old Iron Factory Jetfire, can you do a comparison shot? I'm really wanting to see the height difference between the two, and I don't think I've seen any 'standing straight, next to each other' pics with both of them.
