VICTORY! I think I've largely hit the QC lottery. I'm not entirely sure what the Victory Leo crotch split issue is, but there's a minor crevice at the front where it's not 100% joined together but it's solidly clamped. Hips stay together in the limited poses I've done. No blotches, maybe a few minor, minor scratches/paint flaws. Joints are good, antennae are good, not having any weapons issues.
The head flap, helmet, and feet are still largely unknowns. The feet definitely are just a little off, but not enough to inhibit anything yet. ( I'm holding off on transforming him.) The head seems to move OK, but I won't feel comfortable until I transform him to alt and back once.
Any way, I'm pretty happy with him QC wise. The paint issues are miniscule and if I were ever to notice them, I think it adds to the realism like the Milineum Falcon. Come talk to me in 2023 and I might have a different opinion, but for now, Let's Say Gooooo!!!!

Definitely seems like there's an opportunity for someone to make 3p gold foil stickers for these guys. I do worry about DZ if they're really going to chrome him out. I just don't trust hasbro to get it right. Maybe if it were a mp, but not a haslab.

this applies to all chug releases, and yet this guy seems to have more complaints. stuff like the blue paint scuffs on my saber's legs are something i havent seen on a chug toy, full stop. i dont have any WFC figures like it.

I've always hated chrome, and most of these pics remind me why.

Sooo I ordered two of these and both of them have scratches in the gold on the chest plates...I'm assuming there is no getting this replaced by Hasbro?

I highly doubt they consider it a defect. Just like sloppy paint.

Yeah that's what I was referring to with the crotch issue. Might take it off the list since its just a thing every copy has, & that's just something we're all going to have to accept. Yeah the VL head flap issue I haven't heard too much, in regards to it scratching paint, the most significant case I've head was from PVP & today was the first time I've heard of the headflap straight up breaking off, & same goes for Star Saber's helmet. I'll live if the scratches aren't too noticeable like my ss Sideways has scratches from the plastic ties that aren't noticeable, and an even better example would be my GS Star Convoy. Who has a few scratches on the star, but they're in areas that you really can't see them at all & even then you really can't see them unless you have the thing right up against your eyes lol. He also has some loose joints, specifically his hips that I lowkey really need to tighten, but in the end I liked him a lot more than I thought I would. Same goes for Sideways with his loose ankles, but I also liked him a lot more than I initially thought as well. So who knows how things will play out for me in regards to Star Saber.

WOOHOO!!! So I was at work knowing my package came today. I got a notice on my phone that fedex showed up because we have camera's set up. I saw the person show up holding it and then saw them getting ready to leave. I got sad. Then 2 mins later I recieved a phone call. It was the fedex driver!!!! She called from the truck and asked me if I wanted her to come back tomorrow or if it was okay to leave it! I was like "LEAVE IT!!!" LMAO. Made my day. love my local Fedex drivers! Now that's what I call top notch service. Haha. Then I recieved an email shortly after stating it was delivered and signed for by me! Bahahahaha!!! Thanks for signing for me Nancy! Have a great day!!! Pics to come!! Just got home and haven't even had a chance to open it yet. Just wanted to share my excitement. :)

Well, it came in. The QC gods were kinder to me than most, but I have two problems with mine, both on Star Saber. The first is the loose antannae, but a little bit of floor polish will solve that.

The chrome problem hit my copy of Star Saber only. Victory Leo is flawless in terms of QC.

Thankfully I found a good solution to this problem online:

The right knee on Star Saber won't fully straighten out. It's one half a click away.
Guess I have to take it apart to see the issue.

Yeah, not sure I'm keeping my Deathsaurus order now.

Mine did that for a split second. I just gently pushed it forward and held it for a second and it clicked. Now it's fine. Just an option before you break out the tools! :)
