My names ralph, im 21 years old and when i was about 6 my mother died and shortly after i lost all contact with my family. i was told by my father(in reality he is..was just my guardion, my real father is unknown) that i was not wanted. I askd a few times as i grew up about them but got little in the way of information. we moved a few times and as time went on memory of them and my mother faded until very little was left. when i was about 12ish there was a fire in our storage bin and any pictures i had were incinerated. Time go's on and when i was 15 i met my fiance leslie, for the first time sense i could remember i had some one who really loved me,some one who would comfort me and give me all i was missing in life. time go's on and im still with leslie the years 2008 and i feel that things are going pretty well, im lazy have memory and money problums but others have it much worse, things are ok the pros out way the cons. So one day i get a emal from myspace saying i have mail, so i go and check it its a letter from some one claming to be my sister. I think its bull! my myspace page has my name and thats about it, but i check it out any way. she wants the name of our mother it starts with a r so i give my answer and wait. i decide to check out her page and im looking at her pics and she does appeare to have features like mine, dark hair for one so i continue to look and i see a name next to one of her pics AND I REMEMBER THE NAME. im in shock this person really does appear to be my sister. later that day i get a new message it has some answers and a phone number, it takes me maybe a half hour to get the nerve to call but i do. the phone rings a woman answers we start to talk. It turns out she really is my sister, my family as it turns out has been looking for me sense i went missing. we talk and she happens to be in the state, she drives over we talk for a good long time about many things and i learn much about myself and my history that i did not know and i get to see pics of my mother. I am going up to see more of them soon. Its funny one day i had no family and the next i do but i am happy. So what's my point? I guess it would be that lifes pretty funny at how it works.
Dude, that's incredible, I'm happy for you. Reminds me that I've got a half sister out there somewhere I've never met though it's hardly the same situation...
Thats the most amazing story I've ever heard dude. The most I ever got out of Myspace was finding out about my high school reunion. Myspace gave you a family! Congrats dude!
So could you tell us about how you went missing? Cause the Guardian tells you no one wanted you, but you have a sister..possibly a mother and father? Was the Guardian lieing? He didn't kidnap you, did he?
Im not 100 percent on what was really going on. i think it was just a misunderstanding of epic consicuens. the guardian says they said i was not wanted, my sister says thats our grand parents told her diffrently, what ever the truth im happy i have them now. yeah before this i had a pretty poor view of myspace.. i like it better now.

That's awesome man! I always hate to hear of anyone say they don't feel wanted, though. It seems that things have turned out well for you; congrats! As far as myspace.com goes, I have little to no usage for it (or facebook either), but my wife has actually connected with her stepsister who she would have otherwise never had any kind of relationship with. I was adopted, but I have little to no agenda of ever trying to connect with my biological parents. I have been blessed with two of the greatest people ever as my "parents".
Cool story! Modern networking has made things like this all the more possible, and is obviously good for more than paedo's, stalkers and aggressive cheerleaders.
if it was 10 years ago you could've had that put on unsolved mysteries with an awesome intro by robert stack! no, but seriously, that's really really great for you. i hope your newfound family gives you a lifetime of good times and memories.
